What are his numbers this year in a real conference? And are you serious about the Cotton Bowl game? Pitts and Toney as well as a host of other players did not even play in the game.

Why are you debating us anyway? He is fifteenth on this list.

Debate the experts. This is not a USCE versus Florida conversation. This is what the professional scouts and prognosticators are saying. You are entitled to your opinion which by your avatar, I would submit, is patently biased.

the writer is sloppy and lazy so no cred from me. AR in no way played every other series last season. How much homework did this person not do?

Personally, I think AR will benefit greatly by staying another year and I think he will. Improve on passing and then yes I agree he is 1st round material.

    6. Your tape is your résumé
An NFL scout analyzes a draft-eligible SEC player. This week: Florida QB Anthony Richardson (second 2022 evaluation, first during the season):

“He has played 10 games. It’s absolutely crazy that I hear people say he’s not a natural quarterback, or that he should play tight end in the (NFL). Anyone who tries to play this kid at tight end should have their head examined. He’s a quarterback. He’s a quarterback who is still growing and understanding passing game concepts, and he’s dealing with a number of injuries right now.

“He’s also dealing with a lack of talent on the outside. Think about what Florida had for (Kyle) Trask 2 years ago, and compare that to now. His release is rare, and he has the talent and physical ability to be a good, maybe great, starter in this league. He needs to stay 1 more season, but I’m not sure he will. If he comes out, he’s a lock first-day pick.”

He's not coming back and that's fine. He will get paid, way more than he already has, and the team will finally be able to "move on". And I mean no disrespect to AR by that statement. It just is what it is.

Has there ever been a college qb who has thrown in the 50% area and been drafted in the first round? Just asking. We do not have elite receivers but they are good, I'm not seeing dropped passes, if they miss a pass now and then usually it's been a bullet. Watching the games as we have receivers have been open, sometimes he doesn't see them or is throw is high. And as for NFL scouts they certainly are not infallible. The nfl is full of first round busts that someone from the nfl thought were can't miss players.
I want to see this young man succeed, I really believe one more year with BN and experience would enhance his chances as being an nfl qb.

You may be right, but if he goes in the first couple of rounds it will be huge leap of faith by some NFL team that he will develop as a passer, because he is not an NFL passer at present.

Love to see him come back and develop as a college QB for another year.

I think AR has made a lot of progress this year. If he continues to improve in the mental aspects, such as reading defenses and seeing the field he has a very high ceiling. But he definitely needs another year of college in my opinion.

When Josh Allen was at Wyoming, the last two years he completed only 56% of his passes.

He has been a 1st rnd pick in most mocks I’ve seen. OT is a beast and will be a plug-n-play league player for 10yrs, imho.
