Don't think they will axe Herbie no matter what. He's too entrenched in College Gameday and being Corso's helper guy.

Both of those guys are veteran picks that are very good. But ESPN is going to oversaturate their platform with the same guys.

Greeny is already on TV all morning and radio midday. LR is a guest on every show on the platform.

They are pros at the highest level, but I like some variety.

Herbie is a mello football version of Dickie V.
He really has become synonymous with the entire sport. No chance ESPN is that stupid.

He should just “Stick to sports,” then he won’t have to worry about getting axed. Crisis averted.

Shut up and get in line or suffer the consequences is your take? You do realize his comments were actually about a sports topic and were not made on ESPN.

So if the comments weren’t made on ESPN, then why are people worried about him getting axed? Is ESPN some kind of boogeyman that fires people for having an opinion?

RGIII is kind of the same way, if you know what I mean, Tilly... and both of them got fired at the same time? ESPN needs to spin off from Disney.

Then again, isn't having people of questionable gender competting in women sports a Sports Topic?

The problem here is Disney/ESPN is calling the shots on what people (including their employees) can say about an issue in sports.

Couldn’t they get rid of the on ones? That’s a lot of holes to fill but they could’ve got rid of worse personalities.
