On a side note, has anyone ever used the letters FSU in the same sentence with the word dignity, other than to say that they haven't got any?

Only the government can bring a felony charge. The article does not cite a Florida, North Carolina, or federal statute that makes it a felony to disclose a trade secret. I do not know if one exists, but generally harming a business relationship is a civil matter, meaning monetary damages may be accessed, not jail time.

It was my understanding that ESPN could release the ACC from the grant of rights ,making them the last people FSUwould want to piss off. IDK what FSU is thinking here by antagonizing ESPN.

The GOR is an ACC document I believe. ESPN could certainly have influence though if they wanted to.
The bigger problem for fsu is if they piss of eson to get out of this contract, they basically pigeon hole themselves to one option post ACC. They better hope the big 10 wants them.

FSU only has two choices to do better.

They must have gotten some consideration from one of the two, or they wouldn't have embarked on this path. Because to do otherwise, is financial hari kari.

But, no one said Noles are smart.
