This is what you offered up in response to the OP Spamming your crybaby tantrum in response to the OP isn't debate.
Btw, I believe I briefly brought it up before. But does anyone else have a strange suspicion at all about these recruiting services vs Napier’s class, especially On3? I watch a lot of YouTube & after the Arky disaster it was bombarded with negatively towards UF & basically begging kids to flip. Xavier being the main target. Probably never be able to prove it, but I have a strong gut feeling they were in part behind the signing day chaos.
If you believe any news is accidental, you are naive including recruiting. I am not voting for you know who but he defined the BS of the intentional manipulation of facts by social and legacy media. ON3? FAKE NEWS.
The recruiting forum has always been an enjoyable forum. Even with the wild swings and naysayers. But Swamp Gas twits are spilling over. Some don't get the message they aren't welcome.
Being admin of the free side, I was included (with the other admins) in numerous discussions over the year . . . including problems with the premium side and decreased traffic in Swamp Gas in November. Candy was spared. LOL! There was genuine panic by those above me when the traffic numbers for the final week were reported. Immediately after that, we were told to allow more venting, while old posters, many of who I banned for trolling, were allowed back in (not by me) all at once. The rules were removed from Swamp Gas for the first time I recall. The results speak for themselves, IMO. This is a big part of the problem. Off3 is 100% concerned only with Off3 in my opinion only. They rush to be "the first" to report things, whether accurate or not, whether spoiling a kid's moment or not, whether jeopardizing a new coaching hire or not. I've detected an agenda at work and always felt Gator Country was better than chasing traffic, clicks and Off3. I hope this answers any lingering questions. I'm confident that, one way or another, Gator Country will get back to its roots.
I’ve chatted, and been in some discussions with Harris from our urban Meyer years. He is fairly active on Facebook. He said that he and Minnie other players read all the stuff and mostly choose not to respond because of all the negativity. Your damn, right they read it And they don’t like it .
I come to gator country instead of all the other places because it doesn’t have all the bullshit and negativity as much. Twitter or Facebook is basically unbearable because it is a free for all. I’m sure they weren’t getting as many clicks in November, because our team was melting down. When games and people are more interested. I know they have to make their money one way or the other so they are allowing the trash to come in
And starting two true freshman on an already bad offensive line is a recipe for disaster. We may not have another choice, but they better find something in the portal and pay dearly for it
Keeping a positive attitude in the face of adversity is the only way to be. It’s not like we can’t see the games and the problems.
they look really impressive. Baugh looks like a great replacement for Johnson, but bigger and already has great hands for receiving. Daniels looks like a great replacement for Etienne.
Not sure if the info I saw elsewhere was true…but read that On3 owners/management is made up of a few who are fans of our direct rivals (Georgia being one). Could be bogus, but if so it also could be a reason we get crapped on more often by that site. Regarding the first part of your post…with little team success over 3 seasons I imagine more “positive” fans aren’t posting as much and it is easier - and not unreasonable really- to be negative. Team is losing more than winning - negative is a realty. Outside of personal attacks or blatant massive trollerism (is that a word?) I don’t really care if someone posts negative stuff, even super negative criticisms. I am usually a middle of the road guy, posting both positive and negative. Hell, as things are going maybe I’ll be next to be super negative, lol
why not setup a positivity section under swamp gas for you guys to post and not have the burden of reading any negative opinions?
Name one college football team that has an all positive message board. Name one recruit who turned down UF because of the posts on this message board.
For someone that claims to not be bothered by anonymous strangers you sure seem triggered by the idea that people want discourse and not a place to constantly whine.
