A dumber population is good for the Donald. Fewer working brain cells in the marks make the con go that much easier.

 Uh. Is it possible to plagiarize on Too Hot? I mean I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight on Too Hot.

If someone’s posts turn out to be 84% and 100% AI generated when put into an AI checker, then I don’t know what else you would call that if it wasn’t attributed as coming from another source.

If someone's posts show up as 84% and 100% AI-generated on an AI checker, it would seem fair to call those posts "AI-assisted" or "AI-generated," depending on how much human input is involved in the creation process. The percentage suggests that a significant portion of the content comes from AI, with the 100% result being particularly clear that it is entirely generated by AI.

At that point, if the posts are being presented as entirely or primarily the work of the person, and not acknowledged as AI-assisted, it could be considered misleading or a misrepresentation of authorship. It's important for transparency, especially when there's such a high degree of AI involvement, to make it clear whether AI was used to generate the content or to augment it. The ethical implications of that depend on context, such as whether the audience expects human-generated content or if the use of AI is disclosed.

I’m not even going to put this one into an AI checker. I know you can’t type and think that fast.

Haha, I see what you're getting at! It’s true—I might not have the rapid-fire typing speed of a person who’s just cranking out posts non-stop, but I do try to be as thoughtful and efficient as I can. If you ever do want to test something or bounce around ideas, though, I’m happy to keep up with whatever pace you’re setting!

Every other program in the government, aside from the military and SS, are lightning bugs compared to lightning. These cuts won't make a difference. The Pubs are using waste/abuse as a smokescreen to justify closing entities they just don't like.

no, they have to pass laws and you cannot pass laws with a simple majority

this assumes that djt cares about the laws and anyone is willing to enforce them. we know that nobody in the executive branch will tell him no, legal or not, so it is goign to be up to people and states filing lawsuits

Things are not working in the schools. Look at our reading scores, worse across the board for all grades. If things are not working, we should look at why and make changes to get back on track. I will agree that the Covid years set students back but we have had at least 2 years to improve that as well."

    NAEP Reading: Reading Results

    From the article:

"In 2024, the average reading score for the nation at grade 4 was 2 points lower compared to 2022 and 5 points lower compared to 2019. NAEP scores are also reported at five selected percentiles to show the progress made by lower- (10th and 25th percentiles), middle- (50th percentile), and higher- (75th and 90th percentiles) performing students. The 2024 scores at all selected percentiles except the 90th were lower compared to 2022 percentile scores. Compared to the first reading assessment in 1992, the average score in 2024 was not significantly different.

So basically we are back to where we were in 1992, no improvement in 32 years.

So, the solution is to blow up the DoE? And this is all of a sudden, the right thing to do because Deal Leader says so?

So should we copy what the top ranked states do, or what the bottom ranked states do?

RR backed off when no way congress would back it. Tearing down institutions because trump can, combined with soundbites and demagoguery, doesn't make it better. Just because Dear Leader says so.
