Tesla down to 281 a share. Run for the hills! He’s running the company into the ground. My wager offer still stands.

Epic loss of value. In fairness it did run up alot before it plummeted.

Tesla Stock Dives. The ‘Buyers Strike’ Is a Real Problem for Musk. - Barron's

In a Monday report, Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas characterized weak sales numbers as a “buyers’ strike,” with CEO Elon Musk’s increasingly political activity turning off core Tesla buyers—politically left-leaning people looking to go green.

The data have left investors looking for any new positives. Few have emerged.

Jonas also has a buy rating on the stock with a $430 price target. He seems to be one of the few that understand car sales don’t matter to the future of Tesla. Will eventually make up less than 15% of its total revenue.

A car company where car sales don't matter, sort of representative of our scam (er tech)-driven economy

It’s encouraging to hear that a man with little smarts or business sense can become the richest man in the world. I think I may give it a shot.

May not be the flex you think it is. Auto is 81% today. You might as well bet on a start up. Elon's twitter deal to become the "one app" isnt doing anything like that.

Uh no not even close. I’ve been following Tesla stock for over a decade. Analysts have historically misjudged it. Go research robotaxis and humanoids. Or don’t I don’t care. I own the stock and am adding to it constantly when I can, especially at these levels.

That’s only if you ever considered it a true car company. It isn’t.

Well yes, all the companies that want to inject VC investment cant call themselves what they actually do anymore, like I said its a scam economy. Uber isnt a taxi/delivery service either, its actually a tech company, even though they are a taxi/delivery service.

Good luck. No one can predict the future but the fly wheel of Tesla is automotive and suggesting they can lose that and not miss a beat seems risky. We will see though. Amazon makes its money on AWS not retail but it sales are still 80% retail.

Elon Musk is suspected of being "the largest welfare queen" in the history of the U.S. His SpaceX explosions are leading many to question why Musk is not firing 60+% of the people responsible. He can't make good cars or rockets, so this means he's qualified to decide which government employees should be fired? Shouldn't he be in rehab for his ketamine use?

22 months vs 35 years. Good comparison

Musk gets eviscerated for his lack of business sense in an article about the Cybertruck. The 7,000-lb truck is illegal in Europe because Musk refused to consider the safety standards of the EU. The design required parts that cost a fortune to manufacture (who spends a fortune on brake lights?). The truck also performs poorly in snow. In some cases, accelerator pedals became stuck in the down position, and some trucks had body panels fly off during routine driving. Deep discounts in the price of the truck have been announced because the trucks are piling up in dealer lots. Musk's sales estimates for the truck were off by a factor of more than TEN. And his personal politics on public display have not helped sales with left-wing electric vehicle enthusiasts. Apparently, sometimes actions have consequences.

The Cybertruck design disaster is complete as Tesla gets desperate

good news is they aren’t burning down the city as usual…..yet. Meanwhile in other news you have people like my neighbor who just went out and bought a Tesla and loves it. He’s too busy to Astroturf because he has gainful employment .
