wow. Yeah, those definitely sound like the insults of a genius.

 

I hadn't really thought about it until now, but I wonder if part of the pitfalls of social media is people are no longer just immediately surrounded by "yes" people. They are now surrounded globally by a social media blanket of "yes" people. Imagine having hundreds of thousands of people telling you your poop doesn't stink. And then face the slightest pushback like the NYT saying no to you and you lose your shit.

 

So childish. Trumpian even. NYT didn't do what Musk wanted so he sorta stuck his tongue out at them and said "Yeah, well you suck and nobody likes you!!!"

 

TSLA is up like 100% in the past 3 months. When can we expect that bankruptcy? Thread has gotten kinda quiet. I reckon some posters just don’t appreciate that bitch-made feeling. Such a vibrant thread a few months back.

 

Can you let us know how much he has lost since April of last year? We've been just waiting for your update as to how much money he has lost since he started this whole thing, in total.

 

I'm not sure Elon's wealth is pertinent to the discussion of how he is running twitter. Nobody is arguing he isn't rich as shit.

So I was on safari reloading a Twitter page today, and a picture of a dog showed up during the reload.
Thinking my computer had been hacked, I looked around. And yeah, Musk changed the logo of Twitter to the dodge coin dog.
Dude is way way out there.

I do know the background and understand, at least as much as one can understand Musk.
It doesn’t make it any less weird that he is blowing up the branding on his 44 billion dollar investment for what appears to be a relative whim.

I went to twitter today to see if I could find some news on the Ukraine war.

That place has gone to hell. Total crapfest now of Putin lovers hating on the US, Dems, Ukraine, etc.

Probably won't be back.

 

Its always been a shit hole. Social media is the worst thing to happen to this country in a looooong time.

At the top of twitter app there are two tabs, "For you" which is curated by twitter algorithm and "Following" which is only people you follow. If you hang out on "Following" you shouldnt feel like you are being forced to see anything you dont want. However, my "for you" tab is a lot of counter views that is like watching a train wreck. Twitter knows I get distracted by the idiocy and puts more of it in there. If I was on that tab all the time Id feel like you guys.
