Musk said he booted the journalists because they doxxed his family. Did they really do that or is he just pissed about something?
Ego run amok?? He transformed the auto industry by creating Tesla. Now others are playing catch up. He has revolutionized rocketry with reusable rockets. Heck he even started PayPal which I hate but it is an industry leader.
By posting publicly available information on the location of Musk's private jet. I guess he fears that someone from ANTIFA could shoot it down with a stinger missile.
While giving Elon Musk credit for his record as an innovator when it comes to tangible technology, as I suggested in a few posts earlier in this thread when it comes to running a social media platform Elon Musk may have reached his level of incompetence and rather than rethinking his strategy he seems to be doubling down.
How to piss away 45 billion dollars? Or is it over a hundred billion with his somewhat related crash in Tesla stock? Wasn’t that the plot of a Jackie Gleason movie you had to lose a large sum of money to inherit an even larger sum? It was supposed to teach the heir something. I was never clear on what.
He was part of a group who started what became PayPal. It was where he made his first couple of hundred million.
Actually, according to this he was founder of a company that merged with another company that was in the process of developing PayPal. He was named CEO of the new company, but was fired before that company changed its name to PayPal. Was Elon Musk Fired from PayPal?
How much of that did he actually do himself? We like to give lots of people credit for attaching their names to things by controlling some investment capital. Of course this is America, where mediocrities and conmen can be 'visionaries.'
He was the largest shareholder of PayPal when they sold to eBay. One sentence answers are difficult. He had a lot to do with their early success. How much is the question?
It's been 12 hours since I deleted my Twitter account. I'm doing ok. I've resorted to doing a little more work than normal so this could rapidly deteriorate my mental health.
Nobody would know what a “Tesla” is today without Elon Musk. If you understood the history, you’d know that.
He owns the site so he can make up the rules if he wants. But his “free speech absolutist” ideals are now null and void, so he can cut the bullshit and drop the act.
Elsa stock is now down 63 percent from its high. It was already bubbleicious (I started avoiding it about 2 years ago), but this whole Twitter fiasco has made the world realize that maybe Elon is not the gold plated money making permanent luck charm everyone thought he was. I said when he decided to buy Twitter this could be his Waterloo. I also said I wouldn’t bet against him, but it’s starting to look more like the former than the latter.
“I don’t know your history, but can tell you are a nobody.” — Nikola Tesla when describing the Tesla Coil to Elon Musk in 1891
