You’re butthurt Elon runs Twitter. Otherwise, a private company and a platform you can exit at any time you like. But it’s Twitter, which used to be an important propaganda and cancelling tool for the left, now in the hands of a fair dealer. That’s the only reason you care about Twitter.

My iPhone needs to start my car and carry my NC DL. Not sure what the hold up is.

It can already do that, but key fobs and remote starting have been a thing for a long time and how hard is it to pull your DL from your wallet versus holding your iPhone out for a police officer or TSA agent? Are those features really worth the $1500 you spent on the latest version of iPhone?

If a possible Elon Musk venture into smart phones is like Tesla I'm not so sure it will be successful. Some consumers may be willing to put up with reliability problems with cutting edge automotive technology. I don't think that will be the case of phones.
Consumer Reports Still Ranks Tesla Reliability 27th Out Of 28

Wow, so your constant hero worship here is gratis? That seems...sadder.

But, then again, would you admit it if Elon were paying you?

Lol, the funny part of this is that it doesn't require a new phone. It requires a new operating system and app store (a much harder task to build, which is why nobody bothers anymore and just utilizes Google's or Apple's store). And yeah, Apple's competitors in the space are some of the largest firms in the world. Heck, Samsung ships more phones than Apple. It is funny that people who clearly know nothing about this market take this stuff seriously.

You are just making stuff up ... Twitter always had a right bias it's Algorithm. I see you are unable to explain what you meant by that and now just calling people "butthurt" and claiming to know why I care, when are you are actually clueless, as usual...

Because Elon Musk makes a decision which could ultimately cost him billions of dollars I'm butthurt? Once again quoting that famous philosopher John McEnroe "You cannot be serious!".

I suspect Tesla is headed for tough times ahead as others with better reliability move into the space

Tesla's battered market cap is still ten times that of GM or Ford's, lol.

Breaking new ground is hard, your competitors can learn from your mistakes without having to waste any money to get there. Tesla has done a great service for the auto industry, but they are at risk of getting run over by companies with more experience in making cars now that so much of the new technology is maturing.

Ford sells more cars on a yearly basis than Tesla has in its entire history. Tesla's market cap isn't based in reality.

And Musk has alienated normal people. Tesla is going to need right-wingers to start buying its cars. Problem is a lot of right-wingers can't afford them. And EVs are currently better suited to urban areas than rural areas.

Constant running theme here is that libbies know better than super successful CEOs and shareholders. I mean, it’s quite a nice fantasy world you’ve created for yourselves, but you sound ridiculous.

Yep. Tesla's PE ratio is 56.5. And that is with the massive drop in Tesla's share price. GM is at 6.9 and Ford is at 6.3.

Not to mention all the draw backs of buying a Tesla ... This will work when you are the only game in town, but no showrooms, no test drives, no inventory, no dealers to get it repaired at, limited parts for DIY repairs, low reliability, and trolling the half of America that wants a green future ... Seems like Musk is going to make it easy to get passed over...
