    right to due process for family members who may have been marginally affiliated with gangs in order to stay alive if affiliated with them at all. Not every gang member is involved of their own free will. Gangs would threaten to rape and/or kill female relatives if Juan doesn't join. What would you do if faces with that reality?

    El Salvador needs a rehab system to extract those types from the prison population and incarcerate them in a work farm type scenario where they can prove their willingness/desire to separate themselves from the gangs. All stick, no carrot rarely works and there are thousands of these types of people being rounded up and imprisoned with no sort of trial and only marginal evidence of any sort of gang affiliation

    we do, sadly they are mostly populated by people with drug addictions and mental health issues where treatment and rehab would be a better solution
