Brilliant. Once it became clear to me that I could not succeed in professional sports, I narrowed my career choices down to becoming a lawyer or a sperm. I chose to become a sperm, but I flunked the physical. So, I became a lawyer.
What's the difference between a sperm and a lawyer? A sperm has a 1 in a million chance of becoming a human being.
Enough of Glover already. It’s borderline obsessive at this point, and mucking up every other thread.
For only $99.99 I am offering Tampa's entire "Glover" posting history for NBN enjoyment. 108 - Send me your CC info. As the first subscriber, I will knock off the .99 cents, just for you!
I am going to to one more Glover post in the next day or so and then will let it go until next season starts. Call it obsessive, but there always is someone who says that Glover found his level at a mid-major, or he’s a turnover machine, and that bullshit tends to set me off. It’s unfortunate that so many of you failed to identify the negative impact that our immediately prior coach had on so many players.
I agree with you and send you respect. But, for all of us, it may be time to move on. Next year will be interesting enough and worthy of looking forward to.
Just one more post coming up from me. It will be broader than Glover. For example, why did Jones stink for us last season when he excelled in the Big 10 the prior year, and Golden expects him to excel again?
I just looked up the Pommeroy ranking of conferences from last season. This is all based on solid metrics and not "eyeball tests" and "feelings". The gap from the Mountain West (the highest rated "mid major" conference last season just behind the Pac 12) to the A-10 is less than the gap from the A-10 to the Southern. So Southern is not a horrible conference like the Southland conference. They are a mid-major conference but not at the top end of that. The A-10 was a better league, though.
