Easter is now National Transgender Day of Visibility

No acknowledgement of the name of the day for Christians. Not even a willingness to ask for acceptance of each other in the spirit of Christ if that is what he believes.

 

Sorry, Christianity, Judaism and Islam may all be false, but they can’t all be true.

 

Jill and I send our warmest wishes to Christians around the world celebrating Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s Resurrection.

As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. As Homer observed, you can't help how you feel. I certainly can't help feeling you have thoroughly misunderstood the essential message of Christ. Your posts don't reflect a very tolerant person, but then I'm not very tolerant for saying that.

I’m not anguishing over this. Don’t need or want an apology. But there are 365 days in the year. He could have picked any of 364 other days and it wouldn’t have fallen on American Christendom’s Holiest day. It almost seems like a conscience strategy on someone’s part.

Just reporting my non-denominational Christian church Easter service included zero Trans disruptions either. Neither did brunch. Easter baskets were unaffected as well. Dodged a gay bullet this year.

I probably should have added how can a normal person have their body physically changed, some would say mutilated. in an effort to be another sex? Some hate who they are. That’s just not normal. Taking any religion out of it, Mother Nature shows us that a male and a female are naturally meant to be together. Without it we cease to exist.

Over the years I’ve known 4 couples that I became casual friends with, 2 of them girls and 2 of them guys. All 8 were cool and fun to be with. Unfortunately I’ve moved away and lost contact. My favorites were Jackie and Karen, two pharmacy grads from UF that are into pharmaceutical sales. They live on a farm in Newberry and are horse people, and love horse racing. My wife and I would spend every Kentucky Derby with them and some other couples.

This was my relationship with both. Jackie and I would ride the shuttle bus together from Town of Tioga to the UF football games. Karen who also had season tickets often stayed home. You’d think Jackie and I were a couple. lol

Then there was “that” incident. After one race we were all outside around the fire pit having our drinks and munchies. Jackie and Karen were sitting together on a two person bench. I walked up to them, scooted in between and sat down. I looked at each one and said “I think I’m a lesbian too,,, cause I love women just like y’all do”. They laughed so hard they about fell off the bench. Everyone around was laughing also. That’s how we were with each other. I was the jokester of the group. Good memories.
