Not looking forward to playing A&M next year when their DC knows our plays and tendencies.

No way do I see CBN as a deceiver.
He is a principle guy. We know that.
There’s got to be more to this story.

A&M is understandable but if Bates was intentional, that’s low.

And Earnest took the bait. I’m sure he was caught off guard as was our staff and players. Take the high road but never forget.

It’s fascinating to see how fast some people claiming to love the Gators will jump at any opportunity to assume the worst and pile on criticism that in this case is totally unwarranted. Shane, you’re a knowledgeable dude but you’re way too quick to always assume the worst about CBN

I read EGs quote to mean that he understood the departure of Bateman. It is a thing that happens.

However, He described his contact with our staff as the driest experience possible. That makes me think he got a "so what" from them it not much of a response about how Napier was going to handle things.

So it doesn't appear to me that EG is complaining because Bateman left the day after signing day. It is about how questions about the situation were handled. The concerning part to me is that he suggests that his displeasure about that is consistent with his overall experience.

He's one of my favorite players ever (I'm a BUCS fan so that helps). Hate to hear him speak out that .

I thought I read somewhere here saying it was "dumb" take. That was stupid thing to say that about Earnest. He's a great gator and a father of ànother soon to be a great gator in the future. EG may overreacted, but it’s something I wouldn't call a dumb move.

I didn't say it was a "dumb" move..just that it could have been handled differently
People keep using the he is a great Gator..I agree, and don'tsee where anyone says he isn't. ..just wish things were not broadcast all over social media
Could you show me where someone said it was a dumb move so I can edit that post? ..thanks

The guy left for a promotion. He wasn't fired or pushed out, so it wasn't something that would have necessarily been known in advance. I would guess that Napier was passed out standing up the morning after that crazy ESD. So, maybe he could have told Graham, what, 15 minutes earlier? I don't think we have the whole story. Not concerned about this, unless it is systemic, which I don't think it is.

I like EG too, but what exactly does he expect when it just happened. Plus, your statement about "overall experience" would be a 180 from what he said the day before.

He's a parent of a signee, not a member of the staff or a player. Is he expecting to be in the inner circle of everything that happens? This should be a non-issue, but to expect detailed way ahead from the head coach within a couple hours of Bateman agreeing to terms with A&M is a bit ridiculous and isn't a good look for EG. Just my opinion.

I don't air my personal life all over social media, don't even have twitter or Instagram..not even here do I tell people all about myself or if I am upset or angry and I don't bash this program here..I try to support the program, financially and emotionally..if I am upset about something, I vent in person face to face ...with people that might be able to help correct it
    I understand constructive criticism...and that's fine..I just don't post it publicly

Posting personal info on social media is dumb. Doing it to hurt others is hurtful.
