    I went to graduate school in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium and then spent my career after that working for a Belgian company in the US.

    My Belgian cocounsel on an international arbitration once referred derisively to the plaintiff as "Flemish peasant." Still makes me laugh 20 years later
