I do hope you can find the place between exuberance and despair plainly known as "sobering." You can't always get you want, but you get what you need. Hmm, that sounds profound. I wonder if I can make a song out of it...
Will the last (only?) U fan leaving the premise please remember to take the 10-pound bling necklace and pendant with them. Thanks in advance!
Sorry if this is a too raw take, but if this were some SEC team further north in the same state, some fans would proclaim "man, Duke must be ELITE this year, no wonder we lost." Perhaps, "they" haven't realized that "their team", as well as Da U, aren't quite as good as the pundits and fans thought. Too bad. You know what they say, misery loves company. I wonder who would win the old school "Florida Championship" this year? Also known this year as the "Tallest Midget" contest. It is what it is.
He probably chose to count the one cheerleader and one Ibis mascot who were not allowed to leave because of school contract. It is assumed the one remaining fan in the stands likely was sniffing glue during the game and out of sheer stupidity glued himself to the bench and couldn't leave....
You have to realize that some recruits want to stay in state. Look at the messes in Tallahassee and Gainesville, and tell me where Miami area recruits should go to play on a team competing for championships? (And I mean actual championships, not UCF championships.)
I remember when a team in Gainesville used to score points and play defense, but that was a long time ago.
I'd say that both UF and fsu are light years ahead of Miami at this point. Compare our losses to theirs, and who we lost to. Same with fsu losses and scUms.
Miami wouldn't need much space on campus to build a high school stadium, and since they don't need anything bigger than that, it would fit in some corner of campus.
