And BYU should tell them no thanks. But maybe I'm just petty

I knew you wouldn't apologize because I've seen enough people like you in my life to know that would happen. It's funny to see you doing mental gymnastics to say you didn't comment on the story. It's the whole reason you did comment. Too funny.

Eyyy. You're the poster that told me once I made up something DeSantis said. And when I linked you to his literal press release from the governor's own official website you never responded back. Funny stuff

I agree with this, too. But it is a good example of we shouldn’t rush to judgement on these things. Take a step back. Take a deep breath. And then investigate the charges. I have no problem with ESPN stating that such an allegation took place and was under investigation, but they took to the air and reported the allegation as an established fact, including that no one in the crowd around the accused reacted to him calling out racial slurs. And South Carolina deciding to cancel games before an investigation was complete is unconscionable. BYU had its reputation slandered, and I don’t see the media loudly proclaiming their innocence like it loudly proclaimed their guilt.

Yeah, I asked him not once but twice if the 2013 incident was the only reason he kept declaring Fetterman to be a racist or if there was something else.
    No answer

I agree. Heck BYU should go after the lost revenue from the games.

I believe the young lady probably thought she heard something, but for USCe to get involved before any investigation is just the epitome of virtue signaling.

Not surprised that @gator95 would do something like this. I've seen enough people like him in my life to know that would happen. Funny stuff.

my bad. I’m not saying it didn’t happen, but given the lack of evidence, BYU’s rep shouldn’t suffer too much over this. I think South Carolina overreacted.

See how Bossa responded? That's what you should've done, but you are too immature to do that. I knew it would be like that also, just enjoy calling you out and showing everyone what type of person you are. Thanks for proving me correct.

    1. Dawn Staley overreacted whether true or not before all the facts came out. She looks a bit silly now.

    2. I suspect the Duke player heard the 2d syllable of “couGAR” and thought she was hearing something different, like the N word. Too easily verifiable otherwise for her to just make it up.

    3. The silliness of a poster on here demanding apologies for what other posters said about a third party as if he or she is the one who was aggrieved is why boards like this largely suck these days. Why is it your issue to fight, and who TF do you think you are demanding apologies on behalf of some entity you could otherwise not give 2 shits about, and never have? Especially when BYU had initially validated the story. Get over yourself.

Good lord. Is this really how you’d want your kids to act in a conversation?

LOL. Yeah, just make outlandish statements and don't worry about backing them up or when the news showing it wasn't true comes out that no one should say "my bad" if they condemned BYU? Yeah, i'm comfortable with what I said. The boards suck so much these days because people don't own up to when they are wrong. I was wrong on something a month ago and said "my bad, i was wrong". That you have a problem with that is exactly why this board sucks some times.

i believe most of the statements you view as outlandish were made in response to BYU initially validating what happened. I get that BYU got it wrong but why should people “apologize” to you for expressing an OPINION about conclusions reached based on a premise that has been proven likely to be incorrect? It’s not like posters got the facts wrong, they just assumed what they were told by a party with reason to know was correct. That’s very different then drawing an incorrect conclusion on your own.

But, frankly, spamming the board and chasing posters down to demand an apology from them (likely because they have historically disagreed politically with you otherwise having nothing to do with BYU) says a lot more about you than my being annoyed with your silliness says about me.

Just because BYU came out and kicked out a fan didn't make it true. Because some on this board chose to make a determination before any facts came out shows how some people are. This didn't pass the smell test from the beginning. Some saw it that way and some didn't That's your problem for having an issue with it.

@gator95 Since you're running around demanding apologizes I'd still like for you to tell me what you want to me apologize for? Oh wait. Did you make a determination before the facts and assume I had commented somewhere on this thread where I sided with BYU? Consider how you're acting, chastising everyone for jumping to conclusions, that's gotta be pretty embarrassing.

I mistook you for someone else. See, it's not hard to admit when you were wrong. It's not embarrassing. I've done it by mistake before, will probably do it by mistake again. Sorry about that. Now let's see if others do it.
