Although DeSantis is still relatively young his options are rather limited as far as the near future is concerned. He is term-limited as governor. He could always run for Marco Rubio's Senate seat in 2028 in the event that Rubio decides not to run for reelection. Other than that it's unlikely that DeSantis would be a viable candidate for another elective office although there is also the possibility that he could run for the Senate seat currently held by Rick Scott in 2030.

Whether or not you like Adams, the collateral damage of Biden’s totally inept border policy has had a major negative financial and logistical impact on New York City. Adams, like the majority of NYC residents, is frustrated and wants answers but good luck getting them from this President who if you asked him what day it is, it’s 50/50 at best you’d get the correct answer.

What, specifically, was Trump charged with doing that violated the Espionage Act?

After Marco's 2016 presidential bid failed he still had plenty of time to mount a reelection campaign for the Senate seat that he already held and even though he had primary opposition he still had the advantage of incumbency as well as the support of the Republican party establishment. Given term limits Ron DeSantis will not have that opportunity to run for reelection as governor in 2026 nor does it appear that he will have the opportunity to run for an open Senate seat any time soon. If he does decide to run for the Senate his first opportunity will be 2028 when he will most likely be running against a Republican incumbent (Rubio).

For those following along at home, Trump was specifically charged with violating the Espionage Act by failing to return classified materials. There were some additional charges related to obstructing the investigation, and concealing things from the investigators, but the Espionage Act charges were all about failing to return classified materials. The exact language, from 793 (e)- "fails to deliver it [the classified materials] to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it"

I'd add that both Biden and Pence had their lawyers search through documents and then self-reported having them. Just two very different situations then what Trump had done. Trump had every chance to to return them where there would be no charges. Anyone trying to make the comparison to Biden and Pence is being willfully obtuse.
