So cool that he came back to talk to the team..and just as cool is Golden understanding the importance of bringing back Gator Basketball greats and involving them in the program, in any capacity. Connections run north and south too; I love that he's reaching out to them as mentors
I love it that Billy Donovan and Larry Shyatt love UF and will come here to help as they can. And I love it that Coach Golden is confident enough to want them to talk to his guys. Because his guys were obviously listening. Makes me feel really old, however, that some of our guys were 3 years old when BD was cutting down nets and hanging up back-to-back banners. Oy. Still seems like last week to me.
sad but true. I have a tendency of saying something was "about 5 years ago" only to realize it was 10-15. time seems to accelerate these days.
