Bad sign for Repubs up and down the 2024 ticket:

The Republican Party’s finances are increasingly worrisome to party members, advisers to former president Donald Trump, and other operatives involved in the 2024 election effort, according to 10 people familiar with the matter.

The Republican National Committee disclosed that it had $9.1 million in cash on hand as of Oct. 30, the lowest amount for the RNC in any Federal Election Commission report since February 2015. That compares with about $20 million at the same point in the 2016 election cycle and about $61 million four years ago, when Trump was in the White House.

Have to wonder how many small donors are contributing to Trump's various PACs and defense funds instead of to the party or other Republican candidates.

    Bottom of a pint glass
Trumps a "billionaire" but needs his voters to contribute to his defense fund.

Now that dark money rules, why would anyone give anything to the RNC or DNC?

Now tell us why people like Bolshevik Bernie became a millionaire on his and his wife's salary... or how the Clintons and the Pelosi's became milltimillionares while living off of their government salary?

I'm sure MBS, Putin or dark money billionaires will take up the slack.

It's off topic, but Nancy Pelosi married well. Husband Paul is a venture capitalist said to be worth north of $100 million. Both Clintons, Bill and Hillary, received large book deals worth close to $30 million combined. And both have been on the rubber chicken speaking circuit, and can easily pull 6 digits for a 1-hour speech. Bill and Hillary are said to have made north of $150 million between 2001 and 2016 as reported on Hillary's tax returns.

I doubt it hurts Trump that much. He makes his own publicity. It may hurt republicans down the line though.

Much of that money is for TV ads that are much less relevant these days.

Maybe he can apply for some of the $400 billion climate change funds to be wasted.

Frankly, the only time I watch ads is during a sporting event. Maybe the news. Otherwise, we use the DVR and fast forward over commercials.

It's not just about how much money Repubs have to spend on ads in 2024. The lower donations is an indicator of a lack of enthusiasm for Repubs in general.
