A real hero doesn't mysteriously take 30 to 40 trips to Communist China... He's also been accused of stolen valor, you disprove that news. The burden of proof is not on me, it's on you.

Rick, feel free to start a thread on Walz and China. It’s a valid subject. But please don’t try to hijack this one.
    Thanks

Just swinging by to see if @Gatorrick22 was still deflecting.

Again, I remember when the R party was pro military and Pro Police. Maybe some in the R party still are, but MAGA sure isn't.

In peace time the Metal of Freedom is better to some I guess... what's the problem? Yes, war heroes should be celebrated, and they are always... by Pubs in the WH. But if the Dems really feel so concerned about a military metal given to military people, then why do the Dems like Obama and Biden disrespect the veterans after they leave the military? Why are our veterans being mistreated in almost all VA hospitals over and over, our country... again and again?

The whole, this metal versus that metal, is the little hill that your overlord Dems want to die on, that's fine. But tell us all about how the Dems are the one mistreating our veterans and military personnel in the VA hospitals, and how Biden insults our military personnel when they don't clap for his dumb statements.

Tell the whole story of how desperate these Dems are to sacrifice or men and women in frivolous FOREIGN WARS... RIGHT NOW.

You may think Trump is disrespecting the metal of Honor, but Trump has shown more respect for all of our military personnel by keeping them out of harm's way. The Dems are just hoping to get them killed for their personal Ukrainian money laundering machine.

All this is simply feigned indignation.... You and the media machine will take any chance to disrespect our president Trump... every chance you get. Business as usual for you leftist. The same tired Leftists that don't really give a damn about our military men and woman.

‘Turrets Syndrome’ is what most posters on the Ukraine thread have.

If there is a bigger prick than Donald Trump, I would like to hear about it. I grew up in the little town of Hurleyville, NY, which had a population of about 300 people. I have a photo of my dad and Frances Currey marching down Main St. in their military uniforms at the end of W.W.II that I am proud of. Frances Currey won the Congressional Medal of Honor. I am posting his Wikipedia page. Scroll down to the discussion of his Medal of Honor, and you will find an example of what it takes to win one.

That's exactly why I don't take anything the Dem says about our great fighting military men and women seriously... The Dems are the ones constantly trying to diminish and destroy the VA hospital across our great nation.

They are not even worthy of a response.

because it was Trump who talked dismissively of MoH winners. Not Dems, Trump. Maybe denialism is required with following Trump and unable to talk about certain items. But again, it was Trump that said the disrespectful words.

Just an fyi, it’s medal, not “metal” of honor (and of freedom.)

This is what bothers me about the whole situation. That Walz thread was 18 pages long. Are there valid questions about his claims regarding his military service? Absolutely; however, he did serve for 24 years which you can't simply dismiss.

The problem is the people on that thread who claimed to be so concerned about Walz are dead silent about the many things Trump has said (including this) that are disparaging toward members of the military - particularly those who were wounded or killed in service.

Why should anyone engage in a debate in good faith when the arguments against Walz are so clearly disingenuous? Either this kind of thing is important to you, and you condemn regardless of the letter next to the person's name who said it, or you're just an enormous hypocrite. I think we know where most people stand.
