Donald Trump officially wages war against Florida governor "Ron DeSanctimonious"

DeSantis is a RINO.

 

Trump only cares about Trump. Maga nation thinking he cares about them is amazing.

 

They know he hates who they hate and wants to hurt them. That's enough

 

I don't even know what a Republican is anymore.

 

Republican (n.). A person who swears undying love and devotion to Donald J Trump.

 

It's a political party that has no answers to actual problems. But has plenty of answers for made up problems.

 

This could get interesting, if not alarming. Watching themselves eat their young.

I could see Trump having a field day with the “God created a fighter” video”.

 

I only have "like" avail, which doesn't cut it for this post.

 

If DeSantis has any common sense he better detach himself from the crooked Republican establishment before he gets crushed by Trump in 2024 which will make him unviable in 2028. The clowns figure with DeSantis they could at least get through their crooked economic stuff which Trump would never allow.

 

Specifically, with regard to the automotive industry, the USMCA calls for:

• Regional Value Content: Vehicles must contain 75% North American content. The requirement under NAFTA was 62.5%.
• Labor Value Content: 40%-45% of auto content be made by workers earning at least $16 per hour.
• At least 70% of a producer’s steel and aluminum purchases must originate in North America.
• Eliminates the “deemed origination” loophole in NAFTA. Under that treaty producers were allowed to ‘deem’ non-North American content as originating, regardless of origin.

 

DeSantis is the same way. Read an article this am about his year of teaching at a private school. Students recall him telling them then that he was going to occupy the White House. That is his goal and he will do whatever is required to get there, and likeky believes it is his destiny. Scary that someone believes it is their destiny to save us and how he has went about accumulating power and his willingness to use gubmnt to punish anyone who disagrees with him.

 

Said it many times before in dozens of post going all the back to 2015. Donald Trump is the poster boy for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He lives entirely for the adoration of his supporters. Although he refers to himself as a conservative as do his supporters Trump has no real political philosophy. Giving Trump credit where credit is due, he is a truly gifted demagogue and although he doesn't have a single empathetic bone in his body he has been able create the illusion that he cares for supporters primarily white blue collar workers who have been left behind by technology and their families and in a real display of idiocy Democrats/liberals have fallen into the trap of reinforcing Trump's narrative that the left doesn't care about them by referring to Trump supporters as "deplorables" or condemning them as "MAGA Republicans".

 

So is that official now? “DeSanctimonious”? Quite a few syllables and not as crisp as “lying Ted”, but still catchy.

 

This is the inevitable feud that we all knew was going to happen. Trump has all the power here. He can say whatever he wants. DeSantis can't directly criticize Trump publicly in return or he will lose some of the base.

 

The only surprising thing here is Trump knowing the word 'sanctimonious'

 

Also really impressive how fast he has been able to make progress towards that goal. I hope that at some point, whether or not he makes it to the white house, he sits down and writes up a history of how he accumulated so much power so quickly.

Really amazing success story from someone with so little family background in money and power.

 

Let's not forget why Ron defeated Putnam. Ron is now backed by the GOP big mega donors, while Trump is not. Ron is being told what to do and say (all thing outside of FL politics), while Trump is not.

 

What is amazing is that you cannot see that this situation is not any different than any other politician/electorate relationship. They are ALL in it for themselves. Both parties! I’m sure that you of all realize that NONE of them give a rat’s turd about the common people.

 

It will be curious to see whether DeSantis is naive enough to commit political suicide as far as 2028 goes by throwing his hat in with them.
