Donald Trump launches furious attack on Mitch McConnell and his ‘crazy wife’

Not surprising although Mitch McConnell is personally responsible for Trump's only lasting accomplishment, the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Were it not for Mitch's manipulation of the Senate rules, first blocking the nomination of Merrick Garland following the death of Antonin Scalia allegedly because it was an election year even though Scalia passed away 10 months before the 2016 election, and then pushing the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett through the Senate following the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg who passed away less than six weeks prior to the 2020 election with the partisan confirmation vote occurring one week prior to the election.

While I think Mitch is incredibly sleazy he is a very astute politician. As far as Trump is concerned he's guilty of the unpardonable sin of telling the truth, in this case that Trump-backed candidates will probably cost the Republicans a golden opportunity to regain their majority in the Senate.

I’m no fan of Mitch McConnell, but I hope he sticks up for himself. Personally, I don’t think he will do anything, and instead will try to ride out the press cycle.

 

Thats exactly what he will do. Withdraw his head into his shell.

Mitch is so kompromised he has no retort-oise.

 

Trump is a RINO.

 

Mitch is every thing bad in politics. He is not a good person and could care less about the working men and women.

 

I have no sympathy for anybody who conveniently associates with Trump until it explodes in their face.

 

This right here is gold, although not for reasons TJ thinks it is.

Probably true but the same description also applies to Donald Trump and to a much greater extent.
