Yeah they all lie to some extent, but no one's every lied to the extent that Trump has. And no president's lied about a stolen election the way Trump did and attempted a coup to stay in power either.

Or you could just be more like them and act as if you were much, much smarter than you are. In fact most of them act as if they were smarter than they think they are.

It isn't a false equivalency to point out the left counts on voters being "ignorant" too.

 

Part of the reason the Dem message didn’t stick is because voters don’t like being told that they are evil and/or stupid.

But Dems can’t help themselves, at least with respect to Trump, from having their core message be “who, other than a moron or an awful person, could possibly consider voting for him?”

 

Well the OP shows that Dems voters are a lot less ignorant about crime, inflation, border crossings and the stock market than Repub voters are. And exit polls show Kamala won college educated voters by a significant margin. So I'd guess that Dems are a lot less dependent on voters being ignorant than Repubs are. But if you can find some data that shows Dem voters being more ignorant than Repubs on various issues, I'd love to see it.

 

But Trump calls people on the left evil, stupid, vermin, enemies of the people, the enemy from within... and Trump voters eat it up. Somehow they, and you, are ok with it when it's the right insulting people on the left.

He calls Democratic politicians terrible things. With respect to voters, he insists that he loves them and they all love him.

No one gets mad at calling politicians idiots - but they’ll punish you when you suggest that they are too.
