If I was the Dems I would see if Justice Sotomayor would retire if they could force a new pick through quickly. I don't think she is in that good of health and you could have an issue with that before the 2028 election. I wouldnt surprised if Trump gets to swap out Alito, Thomas and Roberts due to retirements.

I pinched my nose and voted for Trump because there is very little with the democratic party I agree with.

For years the Dems called anyone who didn't agree with them racist, fascist, homophobes, trash and deplorables from the high horse they sat on, then wondered why they lost.

Even now they continue to do it without any self reflection. I have seen a couple of commentators already throwing around the terms racists and misogynists for not voting for Harris. It just never occurred to them that it was their policies and own words that cost them the win.

 

The Dow knee jerked down 1000+ last time, before rallying once it digested possible tax cuts (and pretty much nothing else happened besides tax cuts, so the market had reason to rally).

The market definitely likes some of the possible deregulation they think is coming. We’ve been down this road before lmao.
