I doubt it. Their numbers haven’t dropped at all, even with the fact that everyone knows they can’t be trusted.

 

Their viewers don't watch for news they can trust; they watch for news they can trust will align with their worldview.

I'm the end? Nothing. Birtherism was the trial run on election denialism. The political right showed that a significant chunk of their audience was willing to believe absolutely absurd lies that didn't even have a modicum of logic behind them if they helped them deal with cognitive dissonance and make sense of the world not being how they think it is.

The arguments don't have to make sense. They just have to make Trump people feel better about the country that they love that also rejected their politics.

 

It will be interesting to see if Tucker issues a serious statement, laughs it off, goes on offense., or maybe some combination. Here's my draft:
