Agree. This is just one of the most recent hateful right-wing talking points lies.

Who could ever bring themselves to vote for a group as deplorable as they are?

My dad set up a trust fund for all his grandchildren's college education with the stipulation that when the youngest grandchild turned 30 what was left in the fund was split between the 8 of them. That is an awesome thing to do if you have the money.

"Complainers will complain that even the bride is too pretty." OP reflects this Yiddish proverb well. Nicely done, man, nicely done!

1 million from Dolly (to start).

    4 million from FEMA.

Doh! Biden dumbly claims everybody has everything they need.

sKamala does fly by photo op, then texts 2 days later, about how we need to send 157 million to Lebanon, to help *THEIR* poor, hungry, etc.; she bragged about a whopping $750 per claimant via FEMA (many even denied that); FEMA blindly characterizing damage as due to mudslide instead of Helene, due to lack of FEMA funding.

So while your government officials pay pittence to our citizens in actual tragedy, when they're empowered and charged with responsibility of remedying catastrophes just such as this, and instead opt to debt fund hundreds on billions to non-NATO Ukraine, and 157 million to straight up enemy, Hezbollah run Lebanon....

...Dolly Parton didn't give enough, by leading by example, and starting a joint charitable effort with wallyworld...

You're custom made for this virtual asylum! You're what THFSG is all about! Welcome aboard the crazy train bud!

If all the wealthy Democrats who complain about not paying enough taxes wrote extra checks, FEMA would be flush with cash to pay for everyone's repairs.

If all the Republican governors who wasted money on performative politics had not done that, they could use that money to actually help their citizens. You really want to play this game?

Well now that everyone’s got their panties in a wad, tell me what is so great about Dolly Parton? Dolly’s successful because she has big tits and she can sing. Maybe she should have just kept it a secret on how much she was going to give. Don’t bash me for giving my opinion.

So you're saying the government wastes our tax money? You'll get no argument from me at all.

    "If?"

That operation is in full swing and I'm sure the usual double-digit IQ crowd will slurp it up like Pablum.

MAGA bot. And it's no joke either. That response, the use of the "sensitive" phrase, etc. This is what they do. Literally say the stupidest shit ever, then get all thin-skinned and "sensitive" when they get called out for it. Also note the effort to NEVER address the point they brought up in the OP.

Sure. But do you think providing disaster relief is a legitimate function of the federal government?

A lot of people are successful because of their skills and looks. She's talented and by all accounts a kind, caring, and generous person.

I, too had a moment when I wondered why she didn't just do this quietly. But then I realized that this isn't a one-time thing for her. If it were, it would smell more like a million dollar publicity stunt. But no, this is totally in character and I would assume she did it so loudly because she wants to inspire others to do the same. Just my guess.

Except that he didn't say government wastes money. He said republican governors waste soooooo much money, that they can't do their jobs.

Meanwhile the feds waste historic, epic amounts of money, but choose to spend it on our enemies and non-allies, then pretending their isn't enough money (by which I actually mean digital pretend money added to our endless debt that actually manifests as real money on the streets), for our own citizens, when catastrophes actually hit home, and devastate our citizens.

Of course the straight up hard truth of the matter, is that they--the vics in the appt mountains that is--are deemed not worth saving, bc they don't vote dummyrat.
