that's interesting, but by its very nature, it's hard to measure the return on gov spending. What is the return on education, parks, roads, protecting endangered animals, the military, etc?

Again, your answer is to give up. Got it. Brilliant. Sorry, but anyone thinking there isn't hardly any waste is hilarious. All pork should be cut. Nothing is off the table. Why anyone is against this says only 1 thing: Partisanship. So just own you don't like it because the other side is doing it.

"All pork should be cut." While I agree you live in a fantasy world if you think that members of Congress will vote to cut programs that directly benefit their constituents even if those programs are unnecessary or wasteful. Remember that members of Congress do not represent the people of the United States; they represent the residents of their districts or their states. There is a difference.

As far as nothing being off the table is concerned, no politician will support cuts to Social Security or Medicare. Doing so would be political suicide. George W. Bush and the Republicans found out in 2006 after Bush proposed privatizing Social Security in 2005.
In 2005, Republicans controlled Washington. Their agenda failed. Here's why.
The effort failed. Despite those sizable GOP majorities and the president’s own barnstorming across the country to sell his proposal, creating private accounts for Social Security became so toxic that it was never brought to a vote in either the House or Senate. Rather than ushering in a new era of Republican dominance, the fight rejuvenated the Democratic Party’s fortunes and helped pave the way to its takeover of Congress in the 2006 midterms.

Or more accurately stated, the answer is to have reasonable expectations and make reasonable promises. Suggesting the country can efficiency its way to $2T in cuts is the silly part. No one is in favor of wasting money but you have to be realistic about where it has to come from. After 15 pages it has dawned on you that while there is some efficiency opportunities there is no path to $2T in cuts this way. Welcome to reality.

Sure, can you point out to me when you've called out lefties who didn't make reasonable promises? Just point me to 1 time you've done that. We all know the answer to that LOL. And oh No!, you mean someone embellished? No way! No one but you and a few far lefties butthurt about the election saying they can't cut 2Trillion. Ok, so what's funny is IF they cut $750Billion you will for sure show up to say they failed and poo-poo the whole thing. That much I know.

Again, so in your world, since the first rockets failed and failed miserably, the thing to do is quit because obviously it can't be done LOL. You should be a motivational speaker. I just don't understand the issue with trying. Maybe stop playing politics?

Musk's and Ramaswamy's claims go way beyond 'embellishment'. Musk says we can cut 2 tril per year. Ramaswamy says we can fire 75% of federal employees and the average American wouldn't notice. Both ridiculously unrealistic claims. And you clearly agree, as you're only willing to bet that Musk will cut $250 billion. That's one eighth of the claim. So I think we're in agreement and as usual you're just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Your heroes are going to cut more from the budget than the government spends? That will be a feat. I’m sorry but it’s hard to take you seriously when you really don’t understand the parts of the budget.

Here is an example of me not being for a democratic policy: tuition forgiveness… on record often about it.

Yeah, they said the same about X/Twitter when Musk got rid 80% of the workforce. X/Twitter usage has gone up since Musk bought Twitter. I said between $250-500 Billion is a huge number. I would love for you to show me all the times you called out literally anything the left made a claim on and didn't produce exactly what was stated. We both know the answer to that. It's ok, you are still upset about losing. You don't have to be a sore loser, though. It's a bad look.

I asked for calling out the left on exaggerating numbers, not disagreeing with a left leaning policy but congrats on not being left of Bernie. So you are just right of AOC. Sounds about right.

Musk bought Twitter for 44 billion and quickly turned into a company worth 9 billion. He turned it into a garbage dumpster. Let's hope Musk/Ramaswamy don't do to our government what Musk did to Twitter. And no, twitter usage is not up.

LOL. Yes, Twitter usage is up. It's ok, I'll just chalk it up to you being delusional still from the election. Nothing new...

And somehow, with all those new users, revenue has gone from 5 Billion in 2021 to 3.4 billion in 2023. That's because actual usage isn't up, just bots and garbage.

    As for users:
    • Apptopia’s report, released in October last year, which showed that X has seen a 13% decline in daily active users since Musk took over at the app.
    • SimilarWeb, which reported that X has seen a 14% decline in mobile and web visits since September 2022.
    • AppAnnie’s 2023 “State of Mobile” report, which found that X’s monthly active user count declined significantly between 2022 and 2023.
    • Sensor Tower’s recent update, which showed that X usage has declined 18% year-over-year
    • Edison Research’s Infinite Dial report for 2023, which indicates that X has seen a 30% decline in usage, based on user surveys.
No, X Isn’t Seeing All Time High Traffic

No, it's because woke companies boycotted X/twitter. Just because I showed you facts and you come back with BS. Plus now that trump won, woke companies are coming back to X/Twitter. Oops. Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

LOL. It's a place for free speech. You know, the thing the Dems supported until they decided to only support their ideology. You are so far left it's hilarious. I guess supporting free speech is now a bad thing. Only people who are closed minded don't want to hear opposing view points. Sounds just like you. You support banning speech you don't agree with. That's part of why you lost last week. Hope you and the left continue to be against the 1st amendment.

I dont use tweeter/X and dont plan to. Might reset up our business with it if I feel it becomes worth the time and effort and there is a need to communicate through it. Or I might do it just to poke at the lefties lol...

That said...if you think Musk failed with his purchase of tweeter/X. Then you are delusional. It was a brilliant move and there is a reason he is so successful.
