Does (or should) this team have an identity?

Give my physical therapist 5 minutes to lecture this bunch of guys and this Gator group will have an identity instantly.

Yes it does. Her name was Belinda. Back in the 70's it only took 2 or 3 times w/ her to learn her identity. A Crazy Woman. She loved you one afternoon after work, wanted to kill you the Friday night when you picked her up. She actually bit the you know what after a nice evening of wine.

With all due respect, the heck with "identities". I could care less about that. That's something guys who do the commentary like to talk about. The ID I want is we find a way to win. Even Alabama has said that twice this year and Ga too.
Our team is inconsistent right now. We haven't put a complete game together and we may not this year. This is a rebuild. It will take time.
So if we win games any way we can, I will take it and run. We need stability at coaching and let it work. I think Napier, because of his organizational skills and recruiting energy, is a great candidate for stabilizing the program. I would like to see another Florida coach finally become a guy who is here , successfully, for years--like Spurrier. Even Meyer's stint was short despite his success.

Beat LSU and FSU and I don't care what our identity is, as long as we win

Grammar... punctuation... or lack there of. Coherent sentence and paragraph structure.... these are things that make a post readable.

The edit button works wonders if you re-read the post and see the issues.

So far the identity of this team is Fight and Compete. With our top to bottom talent that’s about all we can ask of these young men.

As long they keep it up, CBN brings in a great recruiting class and some good portal transfers. There will be some good opportunities for transfers that come in this off-season.

Under Spurrier Gators averaged 2.08 losses per year. Under Meyer 2.5 losses per year. Since Meyer left they are averaging 4.73 losses per year. Until Florida improves on that loss number I think they are considered average with not much positive identity.

It takes time to build a quality product. Billy has to work with a team developed by a coach (DM) who had trouble recruiting and recognizing talented players like Kyle Trask. So based on reality and inheritance Billy is doing a good job. Now he needs to get some top notch recruits to get to the next level. Support Billy and the team.
