we can’t sustain momentum for nothing in the world. I still point to that loss to Vandy from last year. Being 7-5 to close the reg season at a chance to go 8-5 after the bowl game would have been easier to stomach all of what has happened this season.
Did you HAVE to post this? We get it ... you think Napier sucks and want him replaced. But do you really need to say it in every thread, 25 x per day? It really gets old hearing you (and about 15 others) constantly bitching. Maybe GC can start a forum for the pissed off Gator fans that just want to bitch about everything. Actually, since you are so damn knowledgeable. Please share your story about when you turned around a P5 program that has struggled for 10+ years. You bitch with such conviction that I can only assume you've coached at the highest level and had amazing success. Don't give me that BS that "you don't need to be a coach to see we have issues." I want to hear YOUR success story about when you turned around a program. Heck, give us a story about anything you've done on the football field that would lend credibility to your incessant complaints. Maybe as a player? Or an assistant? Maybe you coached your son's 2nd grade team and won a trophy? I'd even accept a story about you turning around a struggling business unit. Give specific examples so we can verify.
I really believe we will. Not saying Billy has a track record of it, but since he’s been here he does seem to have the team prepared when our backs are against the wall sort to speak. Would love to get a dub Saturday and screw it, i’m saying it, we win Saturday night
I don't blame him. When he committed, he probably expected the team would perform better than it has. Don't think he expected us to lose to SEC-winless Arkansas or give up a record number of yards to LSU.
Oh, so he should have announced a conditional commitment based on an improved record or defense? I know I'm living in a fantasy world, because teenagers change their minds about as often as I change underwear, but it would be nice if when they announced a public commitment that they really understood what the term meant.
So if we would've given up a respectable amount of yards to LSU he would've stayed? Be serious. If he cared about joining a team that was winning this year then he was always going to UGA.
You have to wonder if these might have been Dalvin Cook style plants by UGa. Screw up our recruiting by seemingly filling spots for months until all the best talent is headed elsewhere while never having any intention of signing with anyone other than Georgia.
FSU and UGA never stopped recruiting Nasir even after he committed. Man was having breakfast at Kirby’s house when he last visited. Recruiting is tough because do you take a kid commitment early when he’s off the high of a visit knowing he’s still going to take visits up until signing day or you don’t give him the green light until he’s gotten all of his visits and recruitment out of the way and ask him to shut it down once/if he commits to your school?
Just getting the "Champions of Life" vibe with BN. Not really impressed with him at this point in his tenure.
Its a crapshoot that's for sure. Even carefully kicking the tires to determine the character of the recruit to determine how to proceed is no sure thing.
