You’re trolling because there is no way you believe a top 15 class that half the people don’t play a down is actually a top 15 class.
Coach Napier really needs to finish inside the top 10. Anything less will be a huge blow to the perception that he is slowly rebuilding the program.
The only game that we should have won that I can think of is against Arkansas. Yes we are young, and we did have key injuries. That’s not why we loss though.
He has to finish top 10 and I think he will. This would not be a successful recruiting year if you fall out of the top 10 when you were at the 3 spot.
Even # 10 is not good enough. If its not higher than that considering the recruiting wins we've heard so much about, it will be a major letdown Particularly when or cross State rivals that we laughed about being a portal-et team is getting into the playoffs and had recently leapfrogged us in the recruiting rankings.
We should’ve won Kentucky and Arky. I think that would have kept us on track to where most believe that we are as well.
100% true. My season tickets are in section G where the recruits walk up/down to their seats. I look at the visitors list and yell out their names and the folks in my section are “How do you know who these people are?” Took some photos with DJ a few weeks ago and very few knew who he was!!!
Yeah, when I start talking football with anybody from whatever fan base up here they are clueless to recruiting. Makes me realize how small this recruitnik group is vs the over all masses of fans. I'll be talking to gamecock fans and Clemson fans and they look clueless. I made buddies with a Gator alum friend up here after we got to talking about the Gators football and I started talking about recruiting and he was just in awe of the knowledge I had about the state of recruiting. I almost assumed for a second this was common knowledge among football fans but remembered recruiting is not something many can follow.
We are well past the times when before the season starts you can pencil us in for wins against Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. If you watched the Kentucky game, no we shouldn’t have won. We loss by nearly 3 touchdowns and it wasn’t even that close.
Just for bit of context, last year's recruiting class came in at 13th best in the nation in most recruiting sites. And we have played how many freshman? I think a top ten class would be the bottom I would feel good with, another class like last years would not be so bad either, but that would be a disappointment. Having said that, I think we stay in the top 5 to top 8 when it's al said and done... or better.
I googled Nasir and saw an article that uga was making a push for him a month ago, it's not like it just happened because of the LSU loss
Yeah..people think it's because of the 3 losses in a row..but I have been hearing and reading how those specific recruits were visiting other place for weeks/month..I am not really that surprised to be honest
