President-elect Donald Trump told residents of Greenland that “we’re going to treat you well” as his oldest son visited the mineral-rich Danish territory that’s home to a large U.S. military base, heightening speculation that the incoming U.S. administration could seek to acquire it.

The president-elect later told a news conference he wouldn't rule out using military force or economic coercion to take control of Greenland, saying that “we need it for national security.”

If Trump worshippers dont like something, it didn't happen. They have no logic to these things. Don't mentally dwell in reality.

 

I saw a bit from BBC saying that this term could be very different. Last time he had some reasonable professionals who could rein him in a bit. This time … maybe not.
What if he really tries to do this stuff?

 

No guardrails this time. We can only hope that Congress gets to weigh in on any proposed military action to seize territory. Then again the gop worships the ground he walks on, so who knows?
