    I'm curious if any of the diehard Trump supporters actually support this crap? Or are you just writing it off as "Yeah, Trump says a lot of dumbass things that he's not really going to do ..."

    I'm a trump supporter but not a diehard trump supporter...i'm all for American First but he also says a lot of things that he's not really going to do. Thats just how he talks, broad terms that make headlines. The current situation in the Panama Canal is a serious national security risk that needs to be addressed. I could care less about Canada or Greenland.

    how is the PC a national security risk? does anyone seriously think that in event of war that panama is going to make us warships wait in line? seriously. what is the risk? tangerine man is couching everything under national security risk to be able to do anything from enacting tariffs via EO to invading greenland and panama. bullchit..will voting against MAGA be the next national security threat he needs to bypass all laws for?

    china is positioning themselves in the area of the PC to be able to impact critical supply lines which is a security risk in the event of a war in the asia pacific region. This is not a 'tangerine man' assessment, its just coming to light with him talking about it.

    If we can't defend the PC from China we lost the war already. Perhaps he should have focused on building relationships with Peru and others that are partnering with China more and more as djt continues to threaten and insult them. Allies aren't secured via threat and intimidation unless you are Russia or China.

    I tend to agree although rather than threatening to forcibly retake the Panama Canal Zone as Trump is suggesting the more rational approach would be the negotiation of an agreement providing the US with a greater role in providing security and maybe an agreement from the government of Panama limiting Chinese participation in the operation of the canal.

    By the way, one major export of Denmark is pharmaceuticals, including Ozempic, made by Novo Nordisk. Raising tariffs on Denmark would make our current drug prices go even higher.

    In his early days on the campaign trail, circa 2015, he said on CNN he would repeal Obamacare and replace it with “something terrific,” and on Sean Hannity’s radio show he said the replacement would be “something great.” Fast-forward to 2020. Trump has promised an Obamacare replacement plan five times so far this year. And the plan is always said to be just a few weeks away.
