I'm still waiting for someone to explain why my statement was incorrect.

Do you guys push certain values on your kids and push them away from others? Where do these values come from? Are you irritated when institutions specifically meant to influence your kids push them into values you specifically oppose?

And now you've sacrificed freedom (and not just gun freedom) for the sake of perceived security with the most likely outcome providing neither. Good luck with the fallout.

The war on guns would go about as well as the war on drugs.

Curious why you dont apply this to things like "dont say gay" you are very selective about freedom, but that's most Americans.

Mullets and skinny jeans are back. But that’s considered a new style, again. Is that regression or a new kind of old.

Because the harm in instructing kids on and normalizing transgenderism and homosexuality does more harm than good. And guess what, somebody made the policy decision that instructing kids on and normalizing transgenderism and homosexuality does more good than harm. It's just an example of a policy decision where everyone finds themself on one end or the other, the question is which, even if you don't know it.

    Works both ways.

I do push certain values on my kids. They come from a mosaic of life experiences, reading, schooling, religion, etc. So many contributors.

"Irritation," is too vague. I need specifics.

Skinny jeans have been 'back' for almost 20 years now, they are going out again. Big pants are coming back! The 90s have returned. Its crop tops and baggy jeans. Every girl under 30 is gonna be dressed like Elaine from Seinfeld soon.

Great, so you agree that certain values are good and some aren't. That's an excellent start.

For example, would you be irritated if institutions both advertised and intended to influence kids, for example, taught your kids that it was normal to gouge your eyes out? As in public schools, Disney, etc. Would you be irritated in that case? Would you be outraged that the culture is influencing kids, and therefore, your kids in this sort of direction?

Ok, so you can rationalize removing freedom and imagining some security you can derive from it when it suits you. Maybe this time you'll be wrong about it achieving neither freedom or security, like that Arrested Development meme.

How about you don't blame us for the problem when:
    1. We didn't create the problem
    and
    2. You don't have a solution.

Here's the problem with that... you aren't just being vocal. You are voting for people that are doing things like, attacking businesses, legislating against drag shows (ffs...), and now who have essentially made it legal for states to kidnap kids from their parents if the parents support gender affirming care.

So forgive me, but your argument that you are just exercising your first amendment rights is crap. It's far more problematic than that.

If you were just on here complaining, and people were boycotting Disney, THAT IS FINE. But you are actively electing people that are legislating against this group of people and then telling us that IT IS OUR FAULT, WE MADE YOU DO IT.

Speaking of harm, are there many instances of sexual predators at Disney?

Say, anything near the level of SBC?

“More than 50 Florida pastors were included in a newly unveiled list of suspected sexual predators linked to Southern Baptist churches”

Southern Baptist members detail alleged grooming, sexual misconduct among clergy in new report

If the republican leadership were football recruits they’d all be two star. I’ll take the elites any day.

I do find it funny that Republican politicians walk around with their Ivy League degrees acting like they give a rat’s behind about agriculture. Democrats have been working to help agriculture while republicans have stood in the way. I remember when Sens. Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio all turned their backs on America’s farmers and voted against the bipartisan farm bill in Congress just to spite Obama.
