pretty sure you haven’t seen any movies since 2016. That or you subscribe to streaming services featuring gay content.

With team MAGA it’s all about projection

I'll ask you the same question, which movies out of the links above meet your definitions of offensive?

Should they not have characters of all races and gender types if they want to reflect society as a whole or should they only reflect the society that christian nationalists want us to have?

Here's an idea, if you don't like the movie, don't go see it. If you don't like Disney, don't go there. I don't go to Disney but I have no desire to tell them how to run their business either.

Ill ask again, which movies have gay main characters? Are you capable of limiting which movies your kids watch?

I'd settle for getting rid of the ridiculous reservation system as well as the return to normal, free Fastpass system. Might just be enough to get me back in the parks....

Who are you to say what is moral decay and at what line it starts or finishes? Based on your moral standard or someone elses?

This is the problem. Always wanting vague moral lines, etc, so you and others can move the goalposts to wherever you want to place it so you can get your way. That is the main theme behind those who claim wokeness is taking over. They set up vague language (Desantis is a big one because the stop woke act, parental freedom laws, etc are very vaguely written so they can use it where they see fit. It is not direct) and then use it to their advantage against others. Very authoritarian.

    Luca.
Of course I can control my children. I don’t like how gay Disney has become.

The world has gay people. Why is it offensive to have gay people in movies? It makes no sense to me.

The only Disney movie we don't let our kids watch is Beauty and the Beast. As they get older we sit down with them and talk through the issues with it, and they watch it once, but it isn't allowed for the younger kids, and the older kids don't want to watch it again after we talk about the lessons it is teaching.

You’re just being argumentative. My children are 14, 10 and 4. I have seen almost all the movies, old and new.
You have made up your mind. That’s fine. Learning is done on this topic.
I can assure you, almost every new Disney movie has a woke premise or character(s).
I don’t mind changing the channel. I also think our family has moved on. The movies are just to show that they are woke, not very good story lines any more.

I can't remember the last time I saw a Disney movie, but I don't necessarily see women's rights as equating to misandry (assuming that's what you're saying). Are the movies advocating positions on hot-button political topics like abortion or simply supporting the empowerment of girls/women generally? I'm not sure why the latter should be controversial, and I think it's especially important given that Disney is an international brand with its movies reaching places where girls and women haven't made as much progress as they have in the United States.

I’m going to make a reasonable guess that in typing “wile” you meant vile. Thanks for continuing to tell the forum who you are.

Post 11, where you said that you didn’t like Disney “stuffing gay and women’s rights down [your throat].”

Post 20: after criticizing that every moving since 2016 had a gay character, you went on to say you were “tired of the white males getting shit on.”

Post 26: You “don’t like how gay Disney has become.”

While you didn’t use the word, “offensive,” you certainly alluded to it in your posting here.

While I wouldn't use your perception of "shoving gay and women's rights down my throat", several of those movies do have a superfluous reference to homosexuality that does nothing to push the story forward. Notably The Eternals and Lightyear.
I don't find it offensive and have seen both movies (if I don't see a movie it won't be because there are LGBT characters). However, if it seems like it's put in there for inclusivity, it will make me chuckle since it seems forced.
The only time that I kind of cringed about one movie and some dialogue from Disney was in Jungle Cruise with the Rock. Good movie and I enjoyed it but there was a part where a gay character was helping Johnson's character pull an arrow out of his arm. He said to The Rock, "want to bite on my stick?" Holding a branch but everyone knows what the joke was supposed to be. That's a little much for a kid movie.

We do go to Disney fairly regularly, even when it is Gay Day, no problems with it at all. It just seems like if the story lines are going to introduce those themes they should be intrinsic to the story line. Not some random comment or situation.

I wouldn’t say Disney is all that controversial in the choices of movies they’re putting out. I’m just not a fan of seeing a movie just because they’re trying to show that they are socially sensitive.
They’re diluted and and not interesting and at the end of it all, my kids aren’t exactly that excited about it.

Seriously curious and couldn't tell if you were kidding. I'm sure someone would argue that it grooms kids to have romantic relationships with beasts/monsters or animals, but that doesn't sound like a concern you would have. The only thing I saw about it online was some parents saying it's too intense and maybe scary for young kids.

Wasn’t beauty and the beast kind of a tale of Stockholm syndrome? Never considered it, I don’t remember how she ended up trapped in beast’s castle.

This is an edit after the fact. I looked it up.
