    Whoever comes out of that region plays the winner of the Stanford region. Stanford knocked the Gators out of the NCAA tournament last year and they have a pitcher named Canady who is one of the country's best. I don't want to face her in Oklahoma City. I think LSU has the best chance of beating Stanford, plus LSU's coach Beth Torina is a former gator pitcher.

    Southern Illinois knocked out California in the Baton Rouge regional 3-2.
    Missouri eliminated Indiana 5-1 and will play Washington later tonight in another elimination game for the right to play Omaha tomorrow.

    Michigan just knocked Kentucky out of the Stillwater Regional 4-2. So they get a chance to beat the Cowboys twice Sunday.

    Ole Miss went 0-2, getting eliminated by Princeton 3-2. They should not have been in the tourney, IMO.

    The host seed that would play us in the supers is in serious trouble in an elimination game. Louisiana is tied 1-1 with Princeton.

    This is an intense game. Wow. Still 1-1 going into the 6th. LA just wasted runners at first and second with one out and the Princeton pitcher on the ropes

    Clemson is eliminated. Before the season started I was rooting for Clemson to possible make their first wcws appearance. but this season was a tough one for them.

    ^ Penta 224 pitches,, after 33 in 3 innings in early game. Total of 26 Ks on the day..lol

    UCF P also went all 12 innings over 200 pitches..

    Unlikely she throws today/night.. She was struggling at the end physically. But yu never know.
    And the #3 P Widra who also starts at 3b, was HBP and had to leave game, so no idea on her availability. So its all on Shelby Lowe I would think in game 1.. If do win , hopefully push finale back to Monday. But doubt it unless more rain.
