I don't know any Dems/liberals who weren't concerned about Biden's age, but he was the choice we were given and so we supported and defended him, especially given the horrible alternative the Repubs were offering in Trump. The debate made it clear that Joe wasn't going to be up for another 4 years of office and now most Dems support choosing a new nominee. You should be glad, if you truly value country over party, if the Dems offer a better more able-minded choice for president. That would be a good thing for the country. But I suspect you won't be glad if that happens.

Meanwhile your side is still defending and supporting Trump even after he tried to steal the 2020 election and led a mob to ransack the Capitol in an effort to prevent certification of the election. Then he got indicted 94 times. He's totally unfit for office. He should never have been nominated for president. But your side overwhelmingly supports him.

Biden said he decided he had to run again in order to unite the country. Let that sink in.

Come on GL. Coup? There is a far greater coup going on right now. Passing the torch? Of course you know that isn’t true but it’s the argument you are forced to make, so with true attorney fashion you will passionately make it( that’s not a compliment). . Biden isn’t passing anything as per the articles i posted that you ignored. He’s super pissed. He wants to run and your party leaders , in true form, are doing everything they can to hand select ( coup) who they think can win, primary voters be damned.

Please let all of us know which article points to Biden voluntarily stepping down or passing the torch?

Biden angry over Democratic leaders' wavering support

Biden ‘angry’ with Obama over calls to step down from presidential race

Biden left feeling angry and betrayed by top Democratic leaders wavering on his campaign

Angry Biden: 'Go ahead. Challenge me at the convention'

none of them do. Again it is his choice and it appears he is NOT passing the torch.

1/6 had the elements of a coup. It was an attempt to illegally seize power. There was directed violence at “the government”. About the only thing making it “debatable” as to whether it was a true coup or not, is when Trump said he was going to march with his mob, he did not in fact do that. He riled them up then basically went home and watched it all unfold. There was no specific command and control, it was a mob unleashed.

So when you say some people publicly pressuring Biden to step out of the next election, and call that a “far greater coup”, all that tells me is that you must not actually know what a coup is.

Watches Trump enact a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election, which included fake electors, coercion, repeated lying, and an attack on the US government in which 100s of police were injured.

    Didn't care. At all.*

Sees Biden potentially stepping down as Democratic nominee. Calls it a "coup."

Couldn't make this stuff up. But of course this is why the Republicans criminals have no credibility.

    * possibly even lied to help spread Trump's lies about the election and the "hostages."

This is mostly true except for the last sentence.

This country has been hijacked by a billionaires+rubes alliance. The billionaires don't want their taxes raised even a penny, so they are using all their tools to sabotage Biden. The rubes are taking the role of the chickens voting for Colonel Sanders. Together they will turn this country into a dictatorship run by oligarchs. Project 2025 is the roadmap.

I do think we have to admit that it is somewhat ironic for the right to criticize the effort to replace Biden after arguing for so long that he was unfit for office.

When the liberals here cannot refute your simple statements of fact, they deflect. More often than not, the deflection is not even true.

Speaking of simple facts, now that you've read the Republican Senate Intelligence Committee report I posted for you....

.....do you accept the simple fact they affirmed that the Trump campaign knowingly accepted help in an election from Russia?

You understand that it would be both amusing and hypocritical for you to claim to care about "facts" while running like a scalded child from facts you don't care for.

    So true.

And Trump was prevented from going to the Capitol to lead the mob by the Secret Service, who couldn't ensure his safety.

Mind blowing that he thinks Dems getting Biden to step aside is a coup and Trump having his goons ransack the Capitol in an attempt to prevent the election from being certified isn't.
