First few minutes of the game and there are Gators everywhere. Toney, Taylor, Townsend, Anzalone, Gardner-Johnson, There's another one but I can't remember
Yeah, the line moved a few pts down with Kelce out and looked too good at four pts. Well, when ya give up pick sixes, it becomes a whole lot harder to cover the number. He also had a key drop that forced a FG try, instead of the opportunity for a TD. Thanks Toney!
It's gotten ugly now. Chiefs get the ball back down one and first down pass to Toney for an easy first down and he drops it. Chiefs fans booing him. Next play the Chiefs get busted for holding.
And a false start on Jawaan Taylor to make it 4th & 25. Gators didn't exactly endear themselves to Chiefs fans tonight.
Yeah, he learned it in Gainesville. Chiefs OT Jawaan Taylor seems to be getting away with a ton of false starts | Touchdown Wire
I'll stick up for Toney here, that was not a good throw -- quite a bit behind him. But I don't expect any NFL commentators to ever criticize Mahomes, so I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned.
Hmmm . . . . probably a bit behind to avoid an outstretched pass rusher. It was a ball an NFL player should catch. He already schtoinked a pass in his breadbasket right to the Lions for a pick six. It's an awful night for Toney.
It was his 3rd consecutive drop. All at big moments. The first ended up being a pick six. He was dreadful. Lesser guys get cut for games like that. He was that bad.
Toney definitely looked like it got in his head. Unfortunately those are the kind of games that will get you cut in the NFL.
