Let's not forget that when McCarthy called and told Trump personally that they were in danger, he simply told McCarthy that it was apparent that others were more dedicated and upset about the outcome than McCarthy and his colleagues were, or words to that effect. He did nothing else. I that and other instances, seems pretty plain to me that well he may not have desired violence, he didn't have any problem if someone suffered for not doing what he wanted, just figuring that was fair
You spliced the speech to create a false narrative. There is a reason you left out the closing. Spare me your BS...
My excerpts left out 97% of what Trump said. But, to address your concern, I deleted a couple of sentences so that the only excerpts are those where Trump talked about Pence. Shouldn't you be more concerned that his many BS claims of voter fraud (90% of his speech) have not been substantiated in the courts or in official audits? He incited a violent assault on Congress simply because he can't handle losing. How many of his deluded followers are now paying the price in fines and prison terms?
Almost everything you write is total BS! Also, I've been wondering if the Q in your handle relates to Qanon.
And this shows how bias works. As I just do not think that some are this dumb. Lazy and biased yes. I have been on this site long before the Q conspiracy stuff became a thing. And now I have to deal with lazy ignorant people who think the Q in my screen name has something to do with it. So again…people do have a last name that start with the letter Q. I can pretty much guarantee you that every person who asks this question or makes the ignorant assertion knows more about Qnaon than I do.
All this time, I thought the letter Q had to do with your avatar and Q School. Another myth debunked …
I wish! That said…the swing in that picture was a 240/250 3 hybrid right down the middle of a tight Par 4. Don’t hit them that far anymore. A lot less golf with the kids ages and sports. Though summer golfing season is almost here with the youngest. He has an absolutely killer swing. Right before he turned 3 years old…
That is his favorite sport. His hand eye is something you cannot coach. Just started kid pitch. As one of the youngest players he would have been the starting first base and lead off for All Stars. But too much of a commitment and we need a break so off to golf and the beach for summer….
Typical DeSantis . . . Act before you think. Everything he does is to out-Trump Trump. Consequences be damned. Constituents be damned. Sucking up to Trumpers is all that matters.
I am sure this is just the first of many to come: Florida Residents Sue DeSantis Over Revoking Disney District
I can't bother with this ridiculous assertation. The names are already on the Jan. 6 Insurrection thread. But you go ahead and pretend those guys aren't dead. Never blocked anyone on this site but you people that refuse to acknowledge those that defended (with lives) our congress and died sure make me want to. How do you deal with people living in an alternate reality? You don't, I guess.
Making up that police died on 1/6 is some sick stuff. Enjoy whatever alternative reality you are living in. The rest of us are over it.
In the days and weeks after the riot, five police officers who had served at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died. Officer Brian D. Sicknick of the Capitol Police, who was attacked by the mob, died on Jan. 7. Officer Jeffrey Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department killed himself after the attack. Officer Howard S. Liebengood of the Capitol Police also died by suicide four days afterward. The Capitol Police had previously said that Officer Sicknick died from injuries sustained “while physically engaging with protesters.” The Washington medical examiner later ruled that he had died of natural causes: multiple strokes that occurred hours after Officer Sicknick’s confrontation with the mob. The medical examiner added, however, that “all that transpired played a role in his condition.” A bipartisan Senate report, released in June, found that the seven deaths were connected to the Capitol attack. But the report was issued a month before two Metropolitan Police officers — Gunther Hashida and Kyle DeFreytag — died by suicide in July.
Yes. I have concerns about this lawsuit due to standing issues (the lawsuit is littered with things such as “MAY suffer damages”, which generally don’t pass a rule of law that requires “concrete injuries” to sustain a lawsuit. Hopefully other similar suits will follow.
If you want to pick nits. I'm not going to sully the memory of 7 people to argue about it. Let's just say, I think there are 7 people who would still be alive today if not for the INSURRECTION.
