He would be a good choice. Think he’d accept?

I think he would accept. If not SoS, I do think he has his eye on some federal role in Trump’s administration.

I think him and Nikki would be valuable aides b/c they speak their mind. Trump is going to be our next President and people that aren’t afraid to voice their opinion will be invaluable.

I think Trump wants someone to go in hard at the DOJ, so DeSantis likely fits there, especially with his background. Im sticking with Rubio for SoS.

DeSantis does have an unrivaled track record on abusing power to attack his political enemies, so that's a good point on DOJ.

It amazes me that pubs still consider desantis competent. Secretary of State tho? That awkward mfer? Lulz no. I could see him running the doj cause yes, as others have said he’s a vindictive little shit so I’m sure he’d excel at weaponizing the doj

DeSantis foreign policy aligns much closer to Trump than what I know of Rubio.

Eh, not sure I agree on that. Rubio has already been meeting with Israel and others in the ME. Coincidence? I think not, but I'm not Trump, he has made some real head scratchers his last term.

I think DeSantis finishes up his term as governor.

The one position I'd want him in if he was to go to Washington would be head of the Department of Justice. It won't be easy to crack that nut. DeSantis can do it.

Still, I don't see DeSantis going back unless as a senator or president. He's got a young family growing up in Florida, so I just don't see it.

Not sure that would make JD Vance or Susie Wiles happy, and Trump would be smarter to keep those two close and pass on Desantis.

Agree. I am furious that Biden weaponized the DOJ against his son, Bob Menendez, and Henry Cuellar!

DeSantis has lots of options, but I don't see Secretary of State as being a good fit.

He is kind of the Republican Hillary Clinton, so SoS might be perfect

Cracks me up the ones who try to dump on arguably the most successful governor from any state in our lifetimes.

That’s quite a reach since we all know the Obama clan was the first to the party on weaponizing with the Russia Hoax.

You guys accused Trump of damn near everything you could think of, but I don’t remember accusations against Sessions or Barr for going after political opponents. That’s Loretta Lynch’s legacy. So the Obama Legacy is weaponizing both the IRS (Lerner) and the DOJ (Russia Gate). But feel free to carry on with your delusions, you’re going to anyway
