Probably not so dramatically, but if states conduct their own trade or foreign relations there are bound to be conflicts, and a weak fed will be unable to resolve them. It’ll be some real Articles of Confederation shit.

You don't have that Iron Dome Insurance Co rocket protection package on your house? It is pretty expensive and hardly ever works.

why do you need a separate post about Newsom? You could’ve posted your criticism of him in the same post that you criticized DeSantis. They’re both guilty of violating your concept of federalism. I just pointed it out as a typical myopic vision of the world.

interesting. So if he just signs paperwork barring pride flags in all government building and events, you would not blame him? Are you consistent with your blame/credit commentary?

    DeSantis lied.

"His boast, however, started to unravel when Maor Elbaz-Starinsky, Israel’s consul general, told the news agency he had not asked for DeSantis’s help, and that the governor’s involvement was limited to smoothing paperwork requirements for a previously arranged shipment of “rifle parts” ordered by his government.

“I am not aware and would find it very, very bizarre to think that somebody is procuring weapons and sending it to Israel,” he said. “This is not how we work. And certainly not privately funded."

Now Israel has gone and made the little dictator wannabe upset ... I'm sure DeSantis is now looking into ways to pull the tax exemption from Synagogues...

Thank God. That would be so much more messed up if he really did send weapons to Israel.

Color me shocked that DeSantis capitalized and embellished something to ensure a “Look at Me” moment.

Ok Karen. Aren't you late for the hoa meeting? At what point did I say that I was ok with whatever Newsom did? I'll make it easy for you. I didn't.
