Lol. Nope. Equal is the key point. When things are equal, the mother should get to chose.

Things arent "equal" in 99% of convenience abortions.

He made recommendations. That’s his job. The notion he is bullying is laughable. If lawmakers accepted his recommendations so be it. Your response is truly bizarre.

We all knew it received expedited approval. That was for a reason. We were in a pandemic. It later received full approval. Tens of billions of doses have been given. The side effects are known and have been known for quite a while. Millions of lives worldwide were saved.

The side effects were and are known. The fact that you bring investigations of Trump into this, and then call them BS, shows you are still in a Republican information bubble.

Typically an investigation is into alleged crimes. What are the alleged crimes?

OK you want revenge on the democrats for besmirching your dear leader Trump. You should have just said that in the first place.

Here’s the thing. Desantis has shown authoritarian and fascist tendencies in rhetoric and in deed. He has done so in the name of culture wars. He is marketing himself as literally a gift from God. Now he has completely reversed himself and propagating disinformation on vaccines.

This is the authoritarian playbook. Now is this just election politics or will he act that way as president? Nobody knows. I’d rather not take the risk and find out.

He didn't do that. He utilized a reference to the Nazis, but never actually called him a Nazi.

Okay, then your factually inaccurate but in a way to make you feel better. Because Democratic politicians don't go around performing and mostly don't ask to get abortions themselves. They didn't exterminate anybody by not making the procedure illegal.

Those scared 16 year olds are the ones asking for the procedure. If anybody is engaged in "extermination," it is them. Even if that gives you confusing emotions.

The covid vaccine hit squad it total gestapo and I have no problem using that term to describe it. It's truly despicable and people's lives are at stake. DeSantis keeps telling us who/what he is. When are some people actually going to believe him?

Isnt it your side around here that keeps telling everyone that by voting for the party you are enabling them? Well producing legislation is a proxy action.

I mean people have been called bigots here just based on a vote, yet they never actually prevented anything from taking place.

    Semantics works both ways

No. The extermination is being done by doctors who know the baby is human and do it for financial gain.

People ask doctors for opioids too, but I blame the doctors and the laws for the problem, not the person experiencing the trauma.

And you were good with that accusation, to be clear? Because it is bad faith to argue that other people did something that you disagreed with that you find analogous (which is arguable), which gives you permission to do the same thing you argued against.

And, again, the Democratic Party is not forcing anybody to have an abortion. There is no major party arguing for government forced abortions in this country. They argue that the procedure should be legal. And you argue that it should be illegal but not with any punishment to those who ask for it.

Nope. The righteous liberal leaders only care about civil liberty. They never use such causes as pandering.

I just saw an article about a woman who had complications from child birth and had to have her hands and feet amputated. Saw another article discussing the rate of mother birth related mortality especially among minority women. But hey the dead mom and her family can take solace that Tilly is happy the they did what God wanted.

Also saw an article that the estimated 50,000 births primarily among mothers ill equipped to deal with the child will result from Roe v Wade. But God is pleased, so no worries. Praise be.

Holy shit I had no idea you were this religiously unhinged. That is such a ridiculous take. Nobody is getting rich off of abortions. Good God man.

    .
You post that, and call me unhinged?
What is funny is I never quote my religious beliefs in my abortion stance. I think protecting human life should be important to us all, but thats just me.

You support a rape exception for abortion. You don't support a rape exception for a mother putting an infant to death. Neither do I. Why? Because you, like I, recognize there's a difference between a child who has been born and an embryo or a fetus.

No, he doesn't but the jump from his word/recommendation to policy is not a big one, particularly under Democratic Administrations.

As a general rule, Congress should not be able to delegate its own powers to other entities. Obviously in reality there are probably more exceptions to this general rule than cases where the rule actually applies. Do I agree with that necessarily? No. Does my opinion matter? Also no.
