    Anyone watching this train wreck?

The two of them are ridiculing each other, calling each other liars, and pretty much dancing around any Trump controversy. I can’t imagine they pick up a single vote.

    WINNER OF TONIGHTS DEBATE: TRUMP

DeSantis mentioned the recent story about a high school being used to house illegals? I read somewhere that they were asylum seekers and school was going to be closed that day anyway?

Either way, I don’t know how he’s never asked about more recent migrants from Cuba and Venezuela who are in Florida either while undocumented, expired Visa, or actively seeking asylum.

Unless Trump goes to jail this is an argument between two completely irrelevant people.

Yea. They aren’t even trying to unseat Trump. They are trying to eliminate the other from the VP. I guess. Otherwise their approach makes no sense.

I read an interesting article in the Atlantic that Haley is still competing for the VP job, and she still could be a contender, even though Trump isn’t a big fan, but she would be the best person to have in the general election.

IMO, Trump/Haley v. B/H would make the ga/f$u game look competitive

    VPs never impact an election.

I imagine there are many anti-Trump Republican politicos watching, too.

Even if that’s true it could mean the VP pick is crucial so that it does not impact an election. We have 0 data on races run with VPs that we’re not picked. Lastly, the wake does not guide the boat

Agree, but this one should since either potential winner is 90% dead already.

There’s lots of analysis on it suggesting it doesn’t matter.

Why VPs Matter Less Than You Think

I am sure there is. But we’ve only observed races with VPs that were picked

did you read this? Even the title makes it clear that they are not studying whether a VP never impacts an election which was your claim. As far as I know I think you are right. I was not & did not claim that VPs had ever impacted an election. I think it is an improvable claim cuz motivations for voting are unobservable

and that is why Christie will not endorse Haley unless she commits to not being VP and ups her game against Trump. Total failure on her part to not go directly at him and just dismiss Desi.
