Please explain why DeSantis needs defending? Making the likely assumption he knew nothing of the photo what exactly did he do wrong?

Unless it can be shown that DeSantis knew ahead of time that the photo existed why should he have to address such an issue? He appointed the guy, something in the guys past surfaced, the guy resigned. End of story. What is the big deal involving DeSantis?

 

The photo is not the issue. The issue is, if this arse clown was a disgusting enough human being to put that "costume" on, chances are pretty good that a) he happened to have the "costume" in his closet all year and b) there is no way that he hid his disdain for non-white, non-Christians such that any actual vetted candidate should never be appointed to anything.

DeSantis needs to defend his vetting process at a minimum, because we are pretty sure he knew about this and that actually is what got him appointed to the County Commission in Gadsen county, as opposed to disqualified.

 

You're obviously supposed to go through all photo albums and get a full Halloween costume history rundown.

Nobody needs to defend it, the votes from people who care about dumb issues like this have long since been bought.
