In appreciation for the Fabian family and enjoying the time they shared here at UF, I wanted to keep a running thread this season to track how Deric is doing at Auburn. Since I'm from Ocala, its been a pleasure supporting their careers wherever baseball takes them. I see some of you are doing the same in other threads, so I thought we could share info for anyone else interested. Feel free to add any updates on Jud as well. This past weekend Auburn faced Eastern Kentucky for a three game series and Deric played in two games. He went 3 for 6 at the plate with 3 walks and knocking in 4 runs. His batting average is currently .500 and is tied for the team lead. He currently leads the Tigers in On Base % of .667 only 3 games in. He has 1 error in two games playing 3rd.
I shorted him a rbi in other thread..oops.. Forgot his walk Friday was w/ em loaded. It was getting out of hand at that point..lol
I was thinking this was his second year away. I just don't remember anything about him playing for us last year. Sorry, my bad!

I quoted wrong post, that was answer to UF stats..lol Looks like a good career v Vandy. AU opens SEC there so hope it continues.
Mat, thanks for doing this. Love the family and love rooting for our former gators. Not sure how you got a come on man rating.
Hopefully he puts up big numbers. I always thought he was a 4 year player that would really come into his own in year 3-4.
Yep - I want the young man to excel until he plays us. Hope his brother makes it to the MLB as well. Quality kids from a quality family.
Wont play UF this year unless in SECT/postseason. The only T10 SEC team they miss. First 4 series... @ Vandy, Ark, @aTm, Vols. SEC trying to bury them early again.
Strange night for Deric & team. He was 0/4 but 2 RBI groundouts, and hit into a E5 that scored 2. So 4 of 7 runs came off his bat.lol Also had a SB. Team has 14 SB in 4 games. Team was 0/12 RISP . 7 runs on only 3 hits, but 16 BB/HBP from UAB. 7-2 F
