Denzel Aberdeeeeeeen!

Both 6'5, explosive and great ball-handlers. I can't remember if Prather had as good of a shot as Aberdeen though

I wonder if we're going to see a clean-cut Aberdeen next year ala Clayton Jr cutting his hair for his senior season. I'm amazed how anyone can play basketball with long hair, but both had/have done quite well with the Samson look

 

Thought he got off to a slow start Sat but finished strong as noted. Hes gotten much better driving to the basket and was nailing that corner 3 yesterday. Clayton and his teammates did a good job getting him the ball.

 

Clayton is now performing more like a true point guard. Really distributing the ball well now.
What I'm seeing is Walt scoring early and loosening up the defense and drawing the attention. Then he kicks into PG mode and gets everyone else scoring.

 

Aberdeen is the better shooter, Prather the better slasher. CP was just a blur when he went to the hoop.

Prather was a great finisher at the rim and had a good mid-range game, didn't shoot well from deep. I think Prather was a better leaper, but Aberdeen has developed some really nice moves to get to the hoop and finish. He's also been on fire lately from the left corner and from 3 in general.

 

yes we was one hell of a slasher and very explosive (just ask Kentucky)
