Dems introduce Bill to ban hedge funds from owning single family houses

Nobody is a strong word. My organization will build many, just in my city this year.
The issue is we can only do so much.

 

Lots of single family homes being built in my area.....for lease not to own.

Lots of affordable multifamily housing going up as well.

Not much "affordable" new construction going up for middle class earners.

 

This is correct. Vail recruits overseas during the summer and promises them housing. By the time they are recruiting domestically most of the employee housing is full. I experienced that first hand.

 

At what cost? Every study shows that housing costs are rising significantly faster than incomes. The home price to income ratio is worse than it has ever been and the recent rise in interest rates make this more acutely felt.

This means people are foregoing other spending to still achieve the “American Dream.” You can have your thoughts on what is judicious spending but the fact of the matter is your home ownership chart doesn’t portray the full picture.

This is very true here in central Florida. We ended up buying a townhouse in Winter Garden for our kids to live in. They “rent” from us. Covers the mortgage.

 

How about when we stopped producing oil and instead buy it from countries trying to destroy us?

 

We are producing oil at record rates. We’ve NEVER stopped producing oil. Don’t be so gullible.

Vail isn’t a town at all IMO. Steamboat is altitude challenged . Last few years I’ve had copper & A basin passes only. Have not missed Vail inc or Texans
