This feels like an abortion post. If someone votes for their principles in this situation knowing they will lose Medicare then I actually find that admirable. More likely they don’t/didn’t think even the party they voted for would cut the program.

 

Likely not, but I just think this whole idea that people get what they vote for has lost its value in a two party system and is just way to simplistic. You simply can't vote for what you want in any real totality, so sometimes folks are left with choosing principles over pocket book
