Saw a clip where she blamed “uneducated white women” and Hispanic men. She’s just another profoundly arrogant, hate-filled progressive.

Perhaps. But I don't think so.

I think it's more like : how bad and ignorant does the electorate have to be to believe the lies and racist grievance they were presented with. (Immigrants are a threat to you and they're eating dogs!)

(And it's repeating, but how deplorable does the electorate have to be to not instantaneously disqualify the purveyor of those lies?)

tldr : Trump offered America grievance and racist lies. They bought it. Sad.

Your post of “that” is a reference to Jo’s mindless characterization of Trump as a “traitorous convicted felon rapist”. You seemingly have no problem with that characterization.

    Uh, ok.

"They're doing sex change operations on your kids at school!"

    "They're doing post birth abortions!"

"They're eating the dogs and cats!"

    Lies like that? Same thing?

And lots of grievance in her campaign? Come on.

But she DID also criminally try to overturn an election? Same thing?

Point taken- I should probably say "traitorous convicted adjudicated sexual assaulter. "

My bad, I'll try to be more precise.

But why would anyone object to the TRUTH?

Yep they looked at all that and still thought Trump was a better choice than Harris.

What’s even worse is Trump really didn’t more overall votes than 2020, Harris got 15 million less than the other doddering old guy in 2020.

    Man that really stings.

The woke elitist freak show has finally started to cost the Democrats enough of their moderate wing that they have to wake (not woke) up. The common folk aren't going to collapse to their knees in the voting booth, groan, "Must...vote...Democrat" and do so with their last dying breath anymore.

James Carville was right 32 years ago and he's still right today. "It's the economy, stupid!" When people lose their standard of living, no special interest rally cries are going to save the day.

When your biggest tv spend was a commercial about trans getting surgeries in prison (think it’s happened twice, with 1 starting the process under the Trump admin), it’s clear what instincts they were trying to motivate in people.

I don’t know about other D voters here, but I spend very little time thinking about trans issues as a whole, and the only time I see it being expressed is on his board via the million threads cons have posted about it.

Dem leadership certainly don’t make much issue out of it other than try to protect against the hate they get.

Conservatives have been using identity politics against the other for centuries. First it was blacks, then women, then a long list of nationalities that were legally migrating to this country from Europe, Jews, throw in Mexicans and Latinos, and now it’s LGBT people.

Yep. Literally never think about this stuff other than here. Saw that ad you refer to. I guess the aim is to force you to defend it and then play juvenile games calling the defense of such as “woke” or whatever.

Personally, when I think of such matters I consider how best to protect each individual’s constitutional rights. Sad that conservatives seem hell bent on doing the opposite. Trans is probably the least risky to attack and whip the rubes into a froth with examples because there aren’t a lot of them, and frankly it isn’t as clear cut as something like interracial marriage or gay marriage. That is unless you start pulling nonsense like “bathroom bills” to try and get the state involved in a persons ability to simply use a restroom, then it is clear cut what it’s about.

Spend more time on self reflection and less on excuse making.
Only one party identifies with sex change surgeries.
Please work on your crazy party.

Sounds like you actually believed the MSM on this election, the same one that presented all this bogeyman crap.

That's a weird statement. "Bogeyman crap." Don't really know what you mean.

One possible inference is that instead of believing the MSM, people should believe, say, that "news" outlet that agreed to pay a nearly $1 billion settlement for knowingly publishing defamatory lies?

    Interesting.

Don't see why that matters. MAGA claimed the last election was stolen with zero proof. Sounds to me like the Republicans just did a better job of stealing this one. Who needs evidence? Just say shit
