What people don’t seem to understand is all teams have a mix of characters….including bad. Its not exclusive to the best players

The key is how the coaches handle it. The culture they set. The punishments and incentives they enact.

Hopefully the coach can influence 25% of the “bad” characters to become legit good guys. But even the greatest culture coaches won’t be able to help everyone

The worst coaches influence none of the bad guys and may even turn some of the better guys to bad behavior
