Exactly. I hope the long runs around his side don’t come with it. I can’t stand watching him jog behind the play.

 

The kid has been unblockable the past two weeks (one game was a scrimmage against a top program).

I really want this kid.

 

My question is, if we get another true DT, are we done? Feels like we could add a rush end, a SSDE, and two DT if staffs hit roulette.

 

You pile up as many good DTs as you can get, hardest position to recruit.

Someone in the know described him to me as "virtually unblockable" just before he came onto the scene there. Turned out to be true.

 

Cannot thrive without them, no doubt. But I think OL is t he most difficult. Many are projects and the position requires certain aptitudes. The DL has to be in the way. The OL has to anticipate and "play fair". I wish that if we over sign on DL, if needed, some end up at OL. But that doesn't seem likely as most of our DL are pure DL.

Yes, we were their last visit I believe. him amd Russaw were here for FNL weekend. They both loved their visit.

It’s more likely that a defensive lineman switches to offense than the other way around. Defense of lineman have to be a bit more agile

 

That CB must be fake. Since when does Blake Alderman give a CB a year and a half from ESD at a confidence level of 3? That guy usually gives them out when the kid tells him its a lock and then puts in his 6 confidence level (regardless of the kid being a lock) CB or hands it off to Wiltfong to get the scoop.
